The concept is very funny. A bit hard to grasp at first but once you get the hang of it it is pretty satisfying!

Pretty solid game, fun to play, fast to learn, but not so easy, maybe some sort of visual feedback for players like showing a text when hovering an item saying what kind of item it is would be a great option for tutorialization for begginer. I had a score of 20 at my first try! Nice Game! Congratulations! :v:

Nice little game, enjoyed trying to get them to dance properly without bumping into stuff or just overall being terrible at the game. Very fun idea!

My first score: `-5`. I feel like I'm better at Waltz in real life, although, to be fair, I've never had to deal with jets of fire. At some point I got confused as to which blob I was, I guess that's roughly equivalent to forgetting which foot is which...

Typo in the first help text: says moves start on beat 1 or 6, should be 1 or 4, I think?

I like the feeling of limited space, I was definitely always bumping into things or working hard not to =).

My second attempt I got a score of 35. I had to concentrate _really_ hard to keep track of which way was "forward", and generally just tried to keep forward being toward the top of the screen, as that made it much easier. Despite that, I seem to have gotten turned around a couple times, it seemed like I did something marked with a left arrow, and then one marked with a right arrow, and I ended up 180 degrees rotated. I don't remember which ones, so maybe was just confused, but I really thought I should have ended up facing a different way.

On that note, I think it maybe would have been much easier to control if the camera rotated so you were always facing forward, so the arrow icons lined up with the board. Or, for a twist, maybe the camera from the partner's perspective and getting spun around could be awfully disorienting, but fun =).

Thanks for the feedback!

* Yeah, it may be that having the camera rotate so your view is always over-the-shoulder would have been more correct/less confusing. * It's definitely a losing strategy to always press whichever move gives the most twinkles; my *intent* was that just like in real dancing, the right move is to sometimes do a simple box or rotation (or just hesitate) to buy time and set up your next step.

Very innovative! I like the idea a lot, but I think having some 2.5d sprite placeholders with some squish and stretch could've made the game a lot more engaging. Some particles and sparkles and cheers and other polish would've made this game shine a bunch, I see a lot of potential. Nicely done!

Very creative game! I enjoyed seeing them dance to the music. Although I have some experience with waltzing, I found the game quite hard. After a few tries, my high score was only 27 ;)

The "fires" were too unpredictable, so I decided to just ignore them.

Would have been be fun to play some levels with some faster waltzes as well!

This is a really unique idea, and quite fun once I got the hang of it. Maybe a tutorial or a slower tempo mode would be good. Well done!

Very creative ! Maybe a preview mode (that will show the path of the dancers on the ground) would be useful... because I often didn't know what to expect of each move. Also maybe a count of the steps (123-456) to understand the timing ?

Wow, what an experience... it took me 10 minutes of negative points to finally get to a game where I scored a positive number (22)!! Somehow I was obsessed about direction rather than points, and then constantly failing to understand how direction worked... I think this game encapsulates the subtlety and sophistication of waltz quite well. And despite the scarcity of visual feedback and my quasi-constant loss of points, I had quite a lot of fun feeling like an impostor waltzer  and it felt extra good to finally managed to do something with those steps :joy: Also, I loved the intro text! Thanks for the game!

12 points!

It is a very elegant game! The game design is very smart that it put waltze in a digital gmae. I know nothing about waltze in real life. Although, I got some points without knowing what I am doing at the first time. I think I learnt something after tried several times.
