This is a really interesting twist on the harvest theme. It would be nice if bosses had some sorta hp bar because i was just shooting it and praying for it to die eventually, here's my end stats: score.png
Oh my lord that intro was a blessing. It's a very fun game, the leveling system keeps it engaging. I have to complain about the lag that builds up once more and more enemies spawn, killing bosses was a chore because of it, the smaller enemies would build up on the other side of the gate while I'm trying to kill the seemingly unkillable boss. There's a lot to polish but you've got the base of a very cool game.

Loved the intro. Actually laughed out loud.
The game itself is crazy fun. Seriously well realized, plays ridiculously smoothly. It starts out very easy and calm, but quickly turns into a Vampire Survivors type experience.
I was surprised to find myself caged in when the boss spawned, nice touch.
The graphics are lovely as well. Very impressed with how clearly visible each beet is, even when there get to be a ton on the screen. I'm not sure if they're cel shaded but it kind of gives that Viewtiful Joe vibe. Very, very cool look.
The audio also fits superbly, both in the intro and in the game itself.
A really, really strong submission to this competition.
I really enjoyed the story and the character design. The main character was a little hard to make out when in the main battle , if you were to expand on the story and the game, reworking his silhouette and the model would be cool. I didn't know I had arrows until the upgrade menu came up.

I really enjoyed the upgrades. Love seeing my weapon go from a bow to essentially an automatic rifle. The beets are cute and I like their hop animation. Movement and shooting feels nice, but getting stuck n beats was sometimes annoying. Great game!
I really like this game. It does not seem to run on some chromium browsers. I like the music a lot. There's is good world building in this game.

The intro was really funny and the visuals of the blood beets were hilarious. The gameplay is straightforward and easy to hop into, the upgrading and leveling is nice, but I wish it was easier to see the health of enemies.
Cool entry ! love the cel-shading effect! But I couldn't figure out if I could beat the giant one...

Eventually I died because of a boss that was so bullet spongy that I couldn't kill him before I ran out of beet juice.
Solid game.

Enjoyed this one! You managed to add a lot of cool stacking upgrades in one jam. The music is cool, the models/animations are fun, and the shooting and spawning is really well balanced. I like the expanding map over time, boss fights, and the challenge of running back into the fray to grab loot. I also love when you reach the point that the entire field is surrounded by bouncing beets - reminds me of a Paper Mario boss fight :) Great work on this game!

That was really fun, I like how many enemies were on the screen and the upgrade mechanic was addictive!
Loved it and had way more fun than anticipated. I only wish there was some health indication for the bosses because for the longest time i thought they were unbeatable. nevertheless, well done!
The intro had me all over the place, didn't know what to expect going in but it was fun lol. The glowing indicator for low blood helped a lot during the frantic moments.
My only issue was the model for the fencing was very hard to see and I kept getting stuck on it wondering why I couldn't move anymore.
