The idea of planting monsters and fighting them the next day is interesting; and I think the gameplay has a lot of potential, but for now, it is really fun! Well done!

I totally agree with previous comment. Interesting idea and lots of potential. I like the cute graphics :) I wish there were more scythe upgrades or other things to spend money on.

Had fun playing it! I noticed that sometimes the slimes would escape the pen, and since you cannot attack outside it, it's extremely hard to get rid of the new slime. That's the only real issue I discovered. The movement was smooth, attacking felt good, planting the slimes to make more slimes was fun. I wish the sign outside your house could display the controls, so that I wouldn't have to go back to the Ludum page to see them though.

Slime graphics are cute :D.

I like the idea of planting monster and fighting them too. With some variety in monsters, attacks etc.. it can be a great game. well done

This is an excellent game for the theme. The idea of planting monsters every day appeals to me. When I have too many seeds, I get stuck at the door.

Definitely a solid idea, it's reminiscent of the LD 41 Jam winner—Dark Soil—but with a different take. Lots of potential! There just isn't enough stuff yet to make it really satisfying. But you're very close!

For some constructive feedback: - I would have played the game longer if there were more colors of slimes and more pitchfork upgrades. That's all this game needed to feel like a good incremental game. - The attack-as-fast-as-you-can-click mechanic felt weird at first, but it felt nice to just be able to spam click to win. Just like an incremental game! - There wasn't anything stopping me from just placing down one slime each day. Perhaps the easiest way to offset that is to have the player pay "rent" each day, with the rent increasing slowly and constantly. - I'd say the healthbar isn't adding much. The enemies are already really easy to kill, and removing it would make me okay with placing down more slimes. - More kinds of upgrades would have been nice to see: area of attack and movement speed come to mind. - I'd increase the size of the farm. It feels really cramped in there, considering I'm supposed to be fighting in it. Alternatively, get rid of the fence and allow me to plant/fight slimes everywhere.

Seriously, I think this game has potential to become a really satisfying incremental game, on the same vein as Leaf Blower Simulator. Kudos to you for coming up with it, I hope to see you in LD53!

I enjoyed this! The idea is a good one. I wish there was some audio though, I think it would have gone a long way.

There is certainly something further to explore with fighting what you sow! It might be worth exploring some elements of how deck builder board/card games work, in that you purchase a card that continues to come into play throughout the game. You could maybe try: - Sowing a creature/plant that continues to grow things everyday (to limit the amount of times you need to visit the store) potentially setting a lifetime for it so it doesn't last forever (if it's over-powered).

- The current pace was a tad slow at getting me into a flow state. One slime a day, doing the same loop to gain one coin feels a little unrewarding. I think if I started with enough funds to sow 2-3 slimes on Day One and collecting 3 coins the next day, would feel a bit better, even if you scaled the cost of a slime up to be the same amount comparatively. Overall good job though! And I hope you consider exploring it further!

Graphics are a bit basic and there is no audio but fun to play!

Unity's collision system let the slimes escape the fence, it would be good to force them back inside when this happens.

This is a super simple and pretty fun little game. A bit more to do would have been great, but what is here is okay, and I had fun trying the game.
