I do not understand this game. It seems unfinished. If I jump over the blocks there seems to be nothing else and it just scrolls to the right infinitely, and if I push the blocks they eventually all turn black but nothing else happens and it also scrolls to the right infinitely. The colors look kind of pretty I guess, but maybe the game shouldn't have been published yet?

As you said in your post yeah, this is in a very unfinished state. Still, doing anything in such a short amount of time, especially something that is playable at all, is an achievement. I can't wait to see more of your stuff in the future,

tex-killer 2022-10-07 03:46

Oh, I only saw your post now. I see it's your first try and you're having trouble, but don't worry, it was like this for all of us in our first attempt (I didn't even publish anything on my first attempt, and I was doing it with a team). Since the EXTRA category allows late submissions maybe you can still try to finish it?

Awesome Game. Enjoyed the overall concept and gameplay. really enjoyed the 10 seconds factor you imlemented in the game. A little more work from the SFX sides would have done wonder. But still a great job keep it up. Please do check out my submission as well.

The rainbow effect of the main character was nice - but I didn't understand the game either. I guess that we're supposed to do something with the colors other than avoiding them, but I couldn't figure out what to do. But the jumping works, collisions do their thing, the 10-second loop is clearly readable and the main idea with the colors seems promising. I think you have a good base to develop into an interesting game.

I didn't understand what we had to do but the controls are good. Holding SPACE while moving is funny :D

Feedbacks : - No InGame tutorial (I didn't get what we had to do) - the ground isn't a perfect line - Esc for a return to menu would have been great - Quit button doesn't work

Same feedback as the other, but I have to give it to you, great job for creating this by yourself, would love to see this game finished :)

Tag me when the game is finished, thank you ^^

Very cool idea!

jrevel 2022-10-07 17:18

I'm not sure I understand what to do... There seems to be many mechanics implemented, but it seems that something is missing to make them work together. I suppose you didn't manage to finish it on time ?

genericparadox 2022-10-07 17:33

I think I get the idea you are trying to go for, and there certainly is potential with it. Unless I am understanding it wrong, you're supposed to do something with the color blocks and avoid the ones devoid of color. If you generate a few blocks at the same time as you generate new ground segments and have the player's color also be susceptible to the draining of color every 10 seconds, the player could touch a colored block to prevent their color being sapped, and you can develop it into a platformer from there.

Keep at it, as the mechanics of the game seem to be working, and there is a lot of potential!

What i should do in this game? Its look interest...but if was some more understanding it would be great

adecon 2022-10-09 16:35

I didn't understand anything, but I really liked it :D Shaking looks very good!

n-n 2022-10-09 17:20

It looks like something interesting, but it is not at all clear what to do. There's not enough of a tutorial level

sayurinyooko 2022-10-10 12:02

Oh, I wish you'd finished your game! It looks like it has a potential. Keep it up!

niterich 2022-10-15 00:21

I am also confused about the objective of the game. I think even just adding a one sentence description of the objectives of the game could help point people in the right direction. But I do enjoy the visual effects, and the jumping is tight and responsive. I think with a bit more time this could be a pretty fun game to play

dzolkin 2022-10-17 21:15

Good idea, I hope you finish it
