Nice clean game! I enjoyed the art, menus, and polished look. I appreciated all the different input options, but it took me a while to figure out what the glide mechanic was. Good work!

Nice graphics! Enjoyed the game, even though I don't think it fits the theme much
I really liked the glide mechanic, it makes the game stand out from the other games of similar type. It would be nice to have some sounds effect on carrot pick up to make it a little more satisfying but otherwise your game is pretty well polished. Great job!
This is my kind of game just Great Job. I love it. The controls are snapy and the character design is great. Music is changed when i die nice touch there. Theme is on point for me, but thi is no matter the game is fun anyway.
@cookie-chr Thanks! I only managed to get the character done in time, would've loved to have added art for the Background and platforms and all that.
Theme-wise, you're delaying the inevitable Game Over or death, since it's endless and there's no "winning" per say but rather trying to go as far as you can, or beating your previous high-score. At least, that's how I intended it to be, but perhaps it doesn't translate well enough? Either ways thanks for the feedback!
@timetravelhamster "The controls are snappy" is a big compliment since I spent so much time working on the jump buffer and coyote time, to make it more responsive. Thank you so much for the kind words! Really enjoyed your game, by the way!
@jozef There actually is a SFX for the carrot pickup but I accidentally play the wrong one xD It's the same sound as the jump so you never really notice it. That was definitely a mistake though.
There's a bunch of other stuff I really wanted to add for polish like the BG and environment art, as well as some "jetpack joyride"-like rockets that you have to dodge every now and then, but as Snakes, to fit the theme of a rabbit.. escaping I think? I'm not too sure to be honest where this setting would be, is it a rabbit escaping a lab? Running in a Forrest? Something entirely different? What do you think? I'm considering working on it a little for a post-jam version so what do you think?
Also, thanks a lot for the feedback!
Really smooth gameplay and UI elements! The hover ability really helped ease the difficulty of the speed. good job.
Neat auto-runner, I got a high score of 385. Jumping and gliding feels great, although I found the keyboard controls (W/H) to be a bit weird. It was fine nonetheless.
The rabbit is so very cute. The game seems very well polished, it looks pretty, the sounds are nice and the gameplay is satisfying.
I like the graphics very much. It's impressive how much stress the automatic running has caused me :D
Super cool game, really enjoyed playing it! The controls are very intuitive, the sound effects and music are fitting, and the graphics are well-made and fit the style of the game. Only criticism I have, is, that it is a bit easy. Once you know all the sections, you can't really die. After five minutes, I just let myself die. Maybe increase the speed a little bit over time or use carrots as fuel for the hover mode (which in turns drains your score) would be cool additions to make it harder, I think. Still, this is one of the best entries to this jam, that I've played, well done!
Very cute rabbit! I like the different obstacles that could spawn, and how most of them had a choice of sorts to approach them. I did notice some carrots seem to give different amount of points, I can only guess that it was based on the difficulty to get them on where they are placed.
The jumping was fine tuned, it was nice to see how needed it was to jump over even the smallest gaps between ledges. I was also able to take a few breaks by letting the rabbit run into a wall, then jump to continue. You could make it more difficult later on by adding spikes to some walls later on.
Good job overall!
Cute art and good feeling controls. Nice job!
Good game i definetly liked the art and graphics.
Very fun game! The movement was very fun, and I like the graphics
@jakobusmade Thank you so much for your feedback! Super helpful. I really like the idea of using the carrots as fuel but I'm not sure if draining the score is fair for the player. Though it does give me food for thought of how else to approach it! Really interesting idea nonetheless.
I agree that it's a bit repetitive and easy and I've actually done the whole "speed increases over time" thing, as well as added more sections that could spawn, so it's less redundant and overall harder, and I also added projectiles that could spawn from the side that you have to dodge. I think I'll have all that as a separate difficulty or can be toggled on/off in options, so it's still accessible to others. Will update it soon! Once again, thanks a lot for the feedback and kind words!
@toppervideogames Thank you! I believe all carrots give a score of 5, which is something I wanted to change so maybe there's a super carrot or something, as well as give carrots a reason to be collected. Perhaps as a currency to unlock a powerup or as a way to revive on death.
I'm glad you enjoyed the jumping! You do that quite often so I tried hard to get it working well. Taking breaks at the walls is not intentional xD I couldn't really "fix" it in time, so just left it in.
Difficulty has been increased with incremental speed, projectiles to dodge and more sections that could spawn. Will update soon, once I iron out some bugs!
Cool game, nice music.
this was super cute! the animations were super clean, well done! i think my biggest piece of feedback is just having more variation in the map because it got repetitive pretty quickly, but other than that it was a really good time. well done!
