Great game!
Neat take on the idea! It was pretty clear how to play. Only thing I'd mention is that sometimes the window and such weren't interactible, and I'm not sure what the book does. Good job though!
Interesting and entertaining, a recommendable experience.
I like how the game mechanics kind of built a narrative that coalesced as you played.
This game reminded me of the project "60 Seconds!". The idea of the game is interesting, but so far there is little interactivity with the environment. The project can be developed, add a mechanic and maybe even a plot. Good luck with your current and future projects.
Good job to show without telling what's going on at the begining. By showing that girl with the haxe and the broken windows.
But after that it is hard to know what actions do. They are too little feedbacks on them. You could have shown a text in the black screen that is displayed after each actions. To explain what the player's action did for example.
I didn't succeeed to win, is it possible?
@pndaa To fit with the theme "Delay the Inevitable", the game keeps increasing difficulty, decreasing the house defenses & character's morale more each day. You can, however, "save" more people by the end if they still have morale when the house defenses reach 0, reflected in the end screen.
I agree with some others. Feedback for how each interaction helps moral/defenses or if I have limited interacts (or is it time based?) But for a gamejam, this was excellent! That many frames in a walk cycle is impressive for the limited amount of time!
Nice mechanics, great way to create the feel of a zombie invasion without having to actually to the zombie invasion x) . Like the use of time as a resource, however it is not clear enough what each action will do. I didn't try another game after the first because I had no idea what I could have done better
That was pretty fun! Nice work!
Nice take on the theme! The art style looks cool. I would like to have info on how much time is left until zombie attack and how much time each action take. Anyway, good job with the game.
