I am not sure when I need to press the space bar (it does not seem to work all the time...), but I love the take on the theme. Great work !

Great take on the theme! I can't believe Tom was the one who did me in. I trusted him.
@yamzho Yeah my implementation was a bit wonky so sometimes you aren't actually close enough even if it looks like you are. There was a lot of stuff I didn't get a chance to fix up before the deadline. Thanks for playing though!
Love the concept. Definitely an unique take on the theme. I am not sure how reputation works though, I see two people with pink names which I assume is spreading my secret. I kept them in check, but idk why my reputation still drops. Is there a third person I need to track? Anyways, thanks for the game I really enjoyed it
I agree with others... great take on the theme and the subject... stopping the spread of gossip... is very cool.
Good humour with both the sounds of the employees gossiping. Fun to play and watch others play. Not sure about all the ways one can lose reputation though.
I loved the take on the theme, just adding some feedback for the boss would be great in a post jam build. I think Bob is a traitor, to think I trusted that guy.
@papaya @wasteofammo Thanks for playing and the feedback. When your secret is spread you lose reputation, but getting too close to the boss also triggers a loss of reputation. That wasn't very clear so I've updated the instructions as well as threw a quick circle around him in my latest bugfix patch. Hopefully this helps the game make more sense for anyone else playing.
One of the best games I've played here so far! The atmosphere is great, graphics is fun and I definitely enjoyed playing it.
Great game! really enjoyed the idea and the graphics. I just didn't know if I was doing good, bad, or how long I had been playing...or how Debbie found out those things about me.
Bonus points for "Shadynasty" :D She ultimately did me in. Her and Sally.
Humor points for the conversation noises. I had a grin.
I did find the reputation system cryptic. It's another way to lose, right? I noticed the bar going down but wasn't sure why.
Great take on the theme, loved the humor and the art. I seemed to be able to stop the gossip at two people perpetually (I assume the red names spread if they talk for too long), so a mix up at the start to make it slightly harder would be a cool addition. But great job!
Great idea for the theme! At one point, lots of workers got stuck grouped together (not sure if bug) so my secret spread pretty quickly after that, haha!
Very creative idea for this one! It's certainly an implementation of the theme that I never would have thought of, but it fits so well with it because rumors really do be like that!
Gameplay was simple, but it certainly didn't need anything else to it. I thought it was going to be pretty simple to keep the rumor from spreading throughout the office when I started, as I was able to break up talking groups really quickly and effectively. That is, until the boss started moving. It was fine for a bit, but once he was in between me and one of those sharing the rumor, I figured it wouldn't be too much trouble to have one more person know...
Boy was I wrong! It quickly began to cascade out of control, flooding around the office as I was trying futilely to maintain some semblance of damage control. It felt like I was fighting the inevitable tide of a zombie plague or something, even if it was just the rumor "infecting" my co-workers. That had a great frantic feel as I was trying to keep track of the rapidly increasing count of those in the know and what they were doing.
The game just had a great feel to it in its simplicity and expert execution on a clever concept. I had a good bit of entertainment myself coming up with what sort of embarrassing rumor they might be spreading and really getting into the role of trying to stop it.
The graphics are simple but look great (love the boss's angry glare) and it's easy to track what's going on thanks to the red names and text boxes (and the exclamation points). The way that the characters sorta bob back and forth while walking added some personality to it, and the sound effects of the player's break-it-up shout were pretty entertaining.
Great job with this one!
