Hey we have a very similar concept for our games, great minds think alike :) Wish I had included a mute button too but thought of it too late
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD50 → Delay Inevitable Death

Great first attempt at Ludum Dare! I hope you continue to make great games!
Pretty hard and inevitable, I really like this point of view, well done.
having the game in an "always running" state was really confusing to me, i didn't understand why the controls didn't work and i phased through boulders, especially since, on my screen, the text on the bottom that says what the controls are is mostly cut off.
i think the hit boxes on the boulders are too big, i felt like i was constantly dying out of nowhere even though it looked like i had dodged, which was really frustrating.
since there are boulders that are low, i expected there to be some kind of way to jump over them, but it doesn't seem like there is. that could add some variety to the game play.
i also think some kind of score timer would be nice, to track current and high score, otherwise it feels pointless to keep trying.
congratulations on your first LD submission, hope this feedback is helpful!
It was funny, good job for first time
Sorry for being lazy with replies, I really appreciate all your feedback. I can't believe I got something in in time let alone to get such a positive response. Thank you.
Neat concept, love the choice of camera angle! Controls a little laggy for me (Brave 1.37.109) but otherwise quite smooth.
I like the mobileness of this game very fun, the hitboxes are kinda sus tho.
Great job for a first time submission! Should you decide to do more, and you should, I think you'll be impressed by how much your submissions improve each time! Keep it going!
It seems not good idea arrange camera in front of character, because player don't have enough time to reaction.
The hitboxes and the camera placement is pretty awkward but overall a nice game. Good job!
for a first attempt this is a great job, it was a bit clunky but you hit the theme and the game works so great job.
There is something wrong with the collisions for sure but good effort overall.
I liked the idea but the hitboxes were kinda off I felt like!
Yeah the hitboxes need to be smaller. I appreciate the feedback here as I might try and include this sort of gameplay in the next game I am designing for PC. I will definitely more pay attention to those pesky collisions.
Pretty fun and challenging, nice game!
Oh nice an infinite runner, it fits the theme well, but you seemed to have opted out of that rating
The different perspective is definitely interesting as you can see death catching up, and we are not looking at the player character's back for once :joy:
I too find the colliders a bit too punishing, and perhaps not spawning boulders until the game start (or something similar) might be a good idea, since if I don't time it well, I will run into a boulder as soon as the game starts
But anyways, congratulations on your first game jam, I enjoyed the music too :D
Not bad at all for your first jam. I also found the colliders too strict, but generally speaking is fun to play. Nice music and original execution. Good job!
