I like the different abilities and the sprites. The sword is a little short. Did you intend to package the whole project inside the zip file, because it was a 300MB download. If you wanted to, you could package a version with just the executable and a separate one for the source project.

Cool game

The quickly and endless ability growthment is a nice idea. If you add some particles and sfx to this game it will be a lot better.

The concept of faster respawns increases the pressure in a way I havn't seen used in many games before! nice one

a little graphics hurt my eyes, but game is cool

Hi! cool game! Really nice work on skills assets! If I may I think that hitboxs are a bit strange, when you hit slimes they can jump on you and stay there. It also happend that slimes spawn rigth on you, which killed me on my best game  The game could also be improve with a really quickly made music and/or interaction sound.

Well done for bringing the project to an end of the ld50. Graphics could be more accurate but it's cute. good luck with your future projects.

Nice pixel graphics and progression was good too. Wanted to keep playing to see what new items/abilities I would unlock.

Wow, really cool game for just one person to deliver! I liked the pixel graphics and the gameplay was really cool. Btw the download is huuuge - i think making is smaller would make more people interested in downloading it. Otherwise, solid entry!

I like the particle effects. The file size is a bit large for this kind of game though.

306 MB, that's a thicc zip :fearful:

You only needed to include two folders, "Ludum Dare 50_Data" and "MonoBleedingEdge", the zip file would be only 24.8 MB.

I tested it and the extra folders (or lack of them) made no difference.

A few sound effects would greatly improve the game, you can make them quickly with Bfxr.

(it is based on sfxr, which was originally made for Ludum Dare 10)

Being able to attack using keyboard buttons would be nice, right-clicking with a laptop touchpad is annoying.

The sword is too short to be of much use, so I kept using the items and almost forgot that hitting with the sword was an option.

I liked the extra items, it added variety to the gameplay and kept it interesting.

Overall, nice game!

Mh - i am pretty torn on the bloom effect. I know that it can give a nice upgrade to easthetics but it doesnt fit every game and can easily be overdone. I wouldnt say that its annoying me - but its a bit too high to really add to the experience id say.

I really like the look of the knight! it would be great to have all other sprites with the same pixel sizes so they dont clash as much (the slimes are noticably upscaled).

The basic gameplay would be ok - you even had different abilities - but the enemies behave so erratic and even spawn on top of the player very often. More polish and fun in the gameplay would be worth it (things like knockback and power scaling for example)
