Really interesting idea and not something I have seen anywhere before.
I just wish the difficulty would increase a bit after the robot has delayed all of your movement. Since the player moves faster than the bullets do, one does not really have to worry too much about getting hit. I just let the robot get me after getting around 20000 points.
This could definitely be expanded into a really fun minigame, especially if more evil robots spawned periodically.

I like this game and I haven't seen something quite like this before

It was hard but I liked it. I was quickly humbled after thinking how dumb the robots were at the start.

simple, but with a really unique mechanic. Afterwards tho, you could just keep on going circles around the map and you won't die.

I really enjoyed the idea of the game, that delay was brutally initially but them you quickly learn to try and adapt to it. Kind of feels like a realtime puzzle game. It did feel a little inconsistent to not delay releasing the key as well.
I'd be interested in this as a puzzle game, it would also be cool to have the delays be more dynamic. Like the more times you press "D" the more delayed it becomes, etc.
Easy game. At runtime, I just change the hold button ("W" -> "W" + "D" -> "D" -> "D" + "S" -> "S" ->....) and move infinitely
Interesting idea, probably the most innovative game I've come across so far. It's not too much of a game yet and has been pointed out you can sort of just keep moving forever so once you are on stage 4 you can just stay there till you get bored. Stil it's a cool concept.
These experimental mechanic games are the kind of thing I love to see during Ludum Dare :smile: Good entry and I think with some more mechanics wrapped around this it could be an interesting "hacking" mechanic to mess up an enemy team. Keep on making games \o/

Neat idea for sure. It makes you have to think about when you want to move. I found my strategy eventually to just always be moving in one direction and then begin preparing the next a second or two early. Good submission.

Art was simple but fit the design with voxel destruction. Audio was repetitive. It could have had SFX when shot or destroyed. I enjoyed the challenge which disabled the use of certain controls. Good job on the game.

Nah, the input delay just got me angry) And the robots stick together when they chase you. Although I liked the idea of dodging slow-mo bullets coming from different directions and with different speed.
Hehe the mechanic is quite fun! I like the creative interpretation of the theme. Having delayed controls makes the game a bit more cerebral. I wonder if it will work well in other contexts?
