very chill and cute game!
Cute little game! Loved the different little flowers and the druid was cute too.
This is late, but thank you @lucas-kauff and @catherine-zhang for playing! I'll get around to playing your games soon.
Really nice game! I enjoyed the mechanics and played for some time!
Really nice game! Interesting idea, great visuals, sound effect and background music, good fit for the theme, well done!
Vera cute! I like the concept, although it seems like it might be hard to lose. My main issue with the game: I had a really hard time telling where my spells were aimed: it did not seem to be directly beneath my feet, nor directly in front of me. An indicator showing the affected tile could be really useful. I enjoyed this!
Very cool game, fun and easy to learn! The graphics are a bit minimalist but clean and easy to read. Made me want to play more, with more challenges and spells to learn!
Thank you for the constructive comments @bassguitarbill! The spell aim is definitely something I should have put a bit more thought into.
Thank you for the compliments @zookatron! If I had more time I would have liked to add more spells and obstacles.
I'll be playing both of your games soon! :)
cool chill graphics and a nice environment you made. Simplistic but cool, I really like the look of the game.
Fell in love with this game, played right before bedtime and it was so relaxing and satisfying. I really liked that I felt like I would never win in the beginning, and at some point it became clear that the locust would be useless against my ever-expanding hive technology :smiling_imp: The graphics and the music are very cool too.
It was a very pleasant experience, playing this game :) Very calming, not too hard. Actually, maybe it was a bit too easy, the player can (and should) just hold the 2 key (maybe together with 1 key), the flowers do their job at keeping a good amount of mana very well. But for a jam game, low difficulty is a good thing, I know something about it. The art and music are pleasant, the whole thing feels chill and relaxing.
This is one of my favorite LD49 games that I've played so far. It's a lot of fun and well polished. Great job! success.PNG
Woohoo, victory! A very charming game with a fun concept. Controls are a bit of a bother, as it's hard to aim and know what tiles you'll hit - and lag would make the game stuttery on top of that (although whether it's my machine or the game, I can't say for sure. not like I'd count lag in my rating - no worries!) Cute art, enjoyable mood. I could definitely see how levels could have you strategize more around this core loop, were you to continue work on it. Well done!
Very relaxing game :) I agree with @fusionnist, aiming is a bit difficult. But I ran it without lag or other bugs through Wine on Linux. One major criticism: I was sad the game suddenly ended. I really wanted to continue playing and turn all of the land green :)
Took me 50 minutes to complete it , I hope it will get out of the danger zone by the end
More difficult than I thought it would be but I really enjoyed it. I couldn't stop playing it.
nice game! I love the theme, and the land management was a neat mechanic!
Okay, this is super late, but thank you so much to everyone who left comments! I could have totally have done better with the targeting. Though I'm thrilled to see that so many people are enjoying the gameplay.
I'm going to try my best to play through everyone's games in the next couple of hours before the jam ends.
