Nice game, the physics on the hook are a little weird but overall good concept and cool execution.

Nice game, the physics on the hook are a little weird but overall good concept and cool execution.
It was really satisfying to stack some of the larger blocks. I would have liked to have the crane move faster, although that may not be very realistic
This game is pretty fun; the soundtrack is really enjoyable and the way the blocks collapse sometimes is really funny; it would be awesome if I could move the crane thing a little bit faster. Nice job; keep it up :D
Cool take on the theme
Maybe make the hook a little faster?
Nice. I like that moving the materials back removed score. The artwork is nice, it is definitely a long and steady game play.
Cool idea and very chill atmosphere. It would be nice to have the crane move faster, but otherwise nice work.
nice staking game^^ afert 3 Stores i desidet to stop .. needs time to do 22 points ^^
Nice idea and the physics work well. I played up to score 18 and then I had had enough. I found it slow paced and also it's strange to have a score with no failure condition. If it were me, I'd make the game run twice as fast, and add a time limit. On the other hand, it's pretty relaxing as it stands...
Wow, the extremely slow movement speed of the crane is probably not what most people would call fun, but it has a super good feeling to it, in my opinion. That is, it really has this feeling of manipulating a giant machine--the machine doesn't react instantaneously because of course it doesn't, it's a giant machine!
I really think this game captures that well. I think the direction to take it would really be to incentivize the player.
That is, getting a high score is just not that exciting, overall, so I really don't feel like I have any reason to sit here manipulating this gigantic slow machine.
But... if there were some other goal I could accomplish with the machine, that I already cared about for some reason, then I would have more reason to want to use it. And then the physics would really get a chance to shine. So I guess, if there were some sort of larger game that this crane could fit into, maybe even just something like an idle game, then people would feel like interacting with the crane a lot more--which would be great, because then more people could experience these cool physics.
The idea is fun, but it's a bit too slow.
Interesting idea. The lack of a real goal takes away from the experience. Having a target height with a limited number of blocks would allow for multiple levels to be included. The slow speed of the crane also made it a little dull.
I can definitely see potential with this concept. I think just one or two tweaks would go a long way.
I have to agree with a lot of the other comments -- it's too slow to be especially enjoyable in a jam context where you're going through a lot of games. But I like the idea and I can see it being compelling if it were polished up!
Thanks for the feedback guys.
@honey-pony, @aplite I was thinking about adding multiple levels with time limit and different goals. But I missed one day of the jam and I didn't have enough time to implement it somehow.
I'll probably work on this game later, after LD, when I have enough free time, and try to finish it.
