Excellent entry! It looks really good the movement is nice and crunchy-feeling. Really has that Quake-era feel--is that what you were going for?

Being able to adjust the mouse sensitivity would help a lot though, the mouselook felt painfully slow to me. :)

Movements are cool, the old school SFXs too. Fun game to play !

Fun!!! Love the aesthetic, the sword-charge concept is clever and really effectively pulled off. It is really in that comfy Quake-esque shooter place. I could not for the life of me figure out what I was meant to do, but I had fun! I want to play a larger version of this, and I think that's a pretty great sign for a jam game.

Cool graphic! Really fun game vith good mood) Great job!

Very fun to play, at first i was surprised by the movement speed but it really fits the fast-paced gameplay. I wish there would have been some background-music as support for the theme and atmosphere(some devilish, maybe metalish?). But it's a game jam project, so i know how it goes.

I really liked the punishment for punching the seemingly "kind" dudes at the altar, would never do it again

What a cool game! It felt a bit unfinished, but I feel it could be great with some effort. The game in general felt quite confusing since you never knew what the goal was. But I absolutely love the graphics, sounds, and the combat feels pretty great with all the effects.

Such a cool game! The graphics are on point and the gameplay feels really nice! I didn't quite understand if I was just stuck in a loop, but then I found the boss and it clicked. The hitboxes for melee could use a little tweaking but that is literally the only complaint I have. Really well done!

I love the look of this game! I wanted to make an FPS and would love to do something like this. I skipped a few ratings because I couldn't really play the game and want to give it a fair shake.

I play with an inverted Y axis and the sensitivity was too fast for me too. If you drop an update with those options please @ me so I can give this another shot!

Very cool game this reminded me a lot of Devil Daggers

lelek-hunor-kadosa 2021-04-30 09:53

It looks really good, I loved the aesthetic. However the mouse sensitivity was painfull for me and I didn't really know what's my goal or at least how far I went or something. But it's a well made game, I liked it! :D

wow love this perspective

Really cool 'Quake like' game. Has a nice atmosphere. i liked the graphics and sounds the too. Great work!

Lovely! Splendid combat feel, though the sword's range was too short to be useful. Because of this it feels that the dash should be the main attack! With that jump after the dash it could also make some insane dash-and-bow combat, too.

Fighting was kinda useless until the boss as you could just hit a person once and get all the overpowered upgrades.

And of course, amazing presentation. Great visuals and oh are these sounds from Quake? :eyes:

I really really enjoyed the look of this game. The combat felt a little off to me though. I had a really hard time telling that I landed an attack. Maybe also enemies have too much health overall.

elosociu 2021-05-10 21:18

thank you ALL for the feedbacks! we've written everything down and are currently working on a post-jam version for the game, which apart from throwing in some new cool content will fix the very..obvious problems with the jam version

So very stylish! So moody! It felt a bit like Dark Souls in how much my experience was shrouded in mystery. Well, if Dark Souls met Quake. Here's my time with it on my stream: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T1oYMc95du8
