Nice Prototype. The art style is great. More random items would make this game more fun.
Pretty simple game well done, on the easy side in term of difficult. The graphics are also consistent and fitting, I laughed at the idea of fire hidden inside the ice. The sound was a bit hard to listen to, thought, it would be my biggest complain. Good job and keep coding!
pretty nice and simple game, i had fun playing it, i reached a depth of 60 the art style is nice and simple, well done!
The randomness of destroying a dark-blue block makes the game kind of unfair in my opinion. Sometimes it makes you warm, other times it freezes you. Apart from that, I liked the gameplay and the sound was not very bad too. The graphics are also nice.

This is cute! On my best run I made it down to 46. I liked the randomness of the dark blue blocks; unexpectedly getting a cold one made for an interesting challenge. It might have been good to have some more structure to the areas that you couldn’t dig through (I assume I wasn’t supposed to dig the ! blocks? never actually tried it), but it works without that. Well done.
I agree that the randomness kind of breaks the game a little. You are really taking a chance on living or dying. You might need a way to telegraph what's in the boxes.

That was a really nice little game ! With some tweaks and a bit more content, I can totally see myself playing it on my smartphone in the metro ! icekimo.png
After a few attempts, a reached a depth of 107, then I got 3 ice blocks in a row and died instantly :/. That's the dark side of using randomness, it can create frustrating/unfair patterns. Of course, in such a short amount of time, it is the most simple solution to generate a level, but I think the next step would be to have distinct "fire-only" blocks that gives you a little bit of warmth, so using a "random" one would be a choice (and not a constraint ^^).
Anyway, I had a good time digging with my little iceskimo (I love the name btw), good job !
Fantastic little game!! I had ton of fun with it, the randomness is a great part aside what other users said, it brings tense and discovery, having 4 explosive blocks in a connected chunks is a blast.

Nice and simple game. Reminded me a bit of Mr Driller! Graphics and sound are minimalistic but pretty. I can see potential if you choose to keep developing it. Congrats for a great entry!
