Hey there @romich430, your itch link is dead so I can't play your game!
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD48 → Doodle Dig!

Hey there @romich430, your itch link is dead so I can't play your game!
it looks interesting but the links is dead :/
Sounds like you took the right approach (keeping it simple) and if you had fun and learned stuff that's what's most important! As others have said, the link doesn't seem to work so I wasn't able to play it - did you remember to publish the itch page you created?
Looks cool but your itch.io link isn't set up properly, maybe you forget to set it to public?
Congrats on completing your first LD Game Jam! I'm excited to try your game once the link gets fixed.
Heya, the games looks fun, art is unique. If you manage to fix the issue, tag me.
@alec @metadept @devga-me @rhys-vdw @mortalslayer24 @sugarsugarsugar Thank you for report! I checked it again and now it works just fine.
if you learned something new - that's a win in my book! Keep it up!
@too-lazy-cat I actually did! my current game is terrible, but I worked on it only 1 day, because I was unable to spend more time. Even though it`s actually not that interesting, I earned alot xp, so I see this as an absolute win!
Congratulations to your first LD :-)
It seems that some data is missing for the .exe to work. I get this error message when starting it:
"Application folder:
C:.../Downloads/LD48-Doodle-Dig--main/Doodle Dig!
There should be 'Doodle Dig!_Data' folder next to the executable"
Same issue as gilborn. Unity should have created a "Doodle Dig!_Data" folder alongside the game executable, and that isn't in the archive.
@gilborn @impiaaa Fixed... again... Sorry, my first time(
Finally got this working and was able to play it! Your latest archive is still missing a folder - you need the "MonoBleedingEdge" folder that Unity puts alongside the "Doodle Dig!_Data" folder. Fortunately this isn't project-specific so I was able to copy it from another Unity build.
The game is simple but totally playable! I appreciate that you took the time to make art, music, sound effects, and even a title screen. I don't think it looks bad at all for a jam game, either. Congratulations on finishing your first jam, and hope to see more of your work in the future!
