A simple and effective game about digging. The creatures are quite strange but enjoyable! The level design seems good. I was hoping to have some animations since right now things feel a bit stiff. Adding a tracker for current depth and max depth would be a nice and easy touch.
Looks like Terraria under shrooms ! Loooove it
Simple concept but well executed. It's actually quite difficult as you have to be strategic but you also have to rush a little bit. Desperately trying to dig a path while a whole stream of bad guys are chasing you is pretty challenging. Great job!

Quite funny ending, I wonder how the game would play like if it was turn based instead of real time. Overall a nice and quick game. ^^

Haha, whilst playing I had "yes you can" stuck in my head all the time!
ok damn the ending got me :) Good game, I'd enjoy more puzzles with new mechanics where you can think about a solution and execute it, cuz I personally just rushed through everything.
A simple concept that was pretty well executed! It looks very simple but quite enjoyable! Though that entry thumbnail does make me expect something better...
On the third section though, you can actually skip a lot of it by hugging at the edge and going down very fast.
I can't help but feel like you ran out of time, but you definitely did something effective and what could be a base for something bigger.
Despite being simple, the game was enjoyable ! The "freefall" part is a nice twist, and each section had its own mechanics, which is a really good game design. The checkpoint were also appreciated. Well done !

@fiakaiera thanks for the comments. Yes I certainly did run out of time and was keen to do a level 4 at least but had to call it. Keen to keep working on it though and make it a bit more puzzle-driven as @teawhydee suggested and add lots more weird stuff. Thanks for playing.

Hey @hapiel what's "yes you can" a reference to? Is that another game?

Nice game! Brings back good old memories of playing "Boulder Dash" and "Digger".

@flipsy It's from a song called "Can I kick it", and I had that in my head because of the title of your game!
Finished the game! Mechanic is easy, though you made it challenging and interesting to finish, good job! One thing that I found a little bit off is the sound of digging, it was too annoying. But great gameplay beats this :) 3.png

Hey @badabooom63 great to see you stuck it out to the end. Yeah you're right the digging sound is annoying. I ran out of time to go back and replace my place-holder audio, but I'm keen to keep working on the game so glad you liked the game play. Thanks for playing.
Really liked the game! Love the way you have to constantly watch for enemies falling on top of you and following you. Made for quite a fun challenge. Thanks for sharing!
Simple but very challenging game. It's almost more of a puzzle game the way you have to plan out your path and timing in order to dig deeper. The character art was very cute as well.
Nice job.

I really liked the challenge and the fact there were checkpoints. I second that the digging sound did get a little annoying, random pitch can help with that, also some background music would have been nice and since you opted out of audio there is a lot of free chiptune music that would have fit the game feel. Overall good job.
