Hello??

mech-alina 2021-04-27 03:11

Not sure how you win - but fantastic voice acting, game is a mood!

waylon531 2021-04-27 07:56

I think I'm stuck on the first level, not sure what to do. Very good theme though I was enjoying exploring the room

gno-evenimente 2021-04-27 08:38

Cool game, but sadly I couldn't figure out how to hide the evidence and not get caught...Love the graphics and overall mood. If you'd like to play ours, here it is: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/48/submarine-adventure

sigmath-bits 2021-04-27 08:41

I love the atmosphere and especially the voice acting. But it's not very obvious what you need to do to "clean the scene" to progress. Perhaps amplified by the fact, at least for me, the camera sensitivity was so extremely low that it was border-line unplayable. I'd love to see what more this game as to offer if this problem is fixable, as the environment and story-telling are very captivating on their own.

tosmaster 2021-04-27 09:30

It was a cool atmosphere and music. But I am quite confused of what to do and how to win. So I collected the wallet and tried jumping out of the window but got stuck on the fire exit?

Btw, the best feature is picking up objects and making them disappear inside the counter, haha :D

diharaw94 2021-04-27 10:38

@mech-alina Thank you so much! The mood is definitely what we wanted :D

diharaw94 2021-04-27 10:42

@waylon531 Thank you! yeah, unfortunately we didn't have time to play test too much. There are four evidence pieces in the first scene, maybe check near the kitchen counter, next to the chalk outline and near the phone :D

diharaw94 2021-04-27 10:43

@gno-evenimente Thank you! yes, it seems to be a problem we've overlooked unfortunately. There are four evidence pieces in the first scene, maybe check near the kitchen counter, next to the chalk outline and near the phone :D

diharaw94 2021-04-27 10:49

@sigmath-bits Thank you! It seems like no one was able to figure it out, that's a mistake on our part. As for the camera sensitivity, we'll push out a hotfix with tweakable mouse sensitivity.

diharaw94 2021-04-27 10:51

@tosmaster Thank you for playing! There's 4 pieces of evidence in the level to collect. One of them in on the floor right in front of where you start, it's a bit hard to see. once you find all 4 the character will mention how he's going to make his exit. Unfortunately we couldn't test it much :/

and yes, janky physics FTW XD

alina-baybulatova 2021-04-27 12:37

Great atmosphere! Really like the monochrome style)

dane-tesla 2021-04-27 16:56

Super cool game! Also the voice acting was amazing, it's a rare isght in jam games. As some people mentioned, there could be something to adjust muse sensivity but with sprint available it wasn't that much of a problem. Amazing atmosphere. Great work!

skelleroznik 2021-04-27 19:17

The story, neo-noir effect, VOICE ACTING (OMG), the looks are all great. I felt emerged in it all the way through playing it. But feels a bit jerky and scenes are a bit cluttered, so it was a little hard to move around, but you can get used to it.

diharaw94 2021-04-28 08:54

@alina-baybulatova Thank you :D

diharaw94 2021-04-28 08:54

@dane-tesla Thank you! yes the mouse sensitivity seems to be an issue and we're hoping to push out a hotfix for that.

diharaw94 2021-04-28 08:55

@skelleroznik Thank you! The scenes were cluttered a bit so the player would have to be a bit careful and not make noise by running into things :D maybe it wasn't conveyed very well haha.

humphreysmedia 2021-04-28 09:57

Very cool style, I really liked the old fashion vibe it had, wasn't too sure how to 'win' or not get caught, but still a very charming game i'd love to see expanded on :)

thewhiterice 2021-04-28 11:00

The game is pretty good. I would make certain things be more visible, if they were important. I also found that interacting with items was finicky, and sometime hard to do. Otherwise, this is a great game, and you should keep improving it.

diharaw94 2021-04-28 11:23

@humphreysmedia Thank you :D we're hoping to improve the levels in a post-jam release and make it more playable.

@thewhiterice Thank you for the feedback! yeah, we were planning to make the objects of interest shine or something, but unfortunately ran out of time. we'll add those for sure in a post-jam update!

thewhiterice 2021-04-28 13:12

@diharaw94 alright cool

eugenik 2021-04-28 15:26

Cool idea!.

yeil 2021-04-28 17:19

Looks intimidating, and weighs the same :D I'm afraid of horror movies, but judging by the comments, the game is cool))

rendy 2021-04-29 21:35

I loved the mood of the game ! Great work, I had some trouble interacting with objects sometimes but an overall very good experience ! A really good tone and athmosphere in the game !

meownsk 2021-05-01 06:37

Absolutely love noir and detectives. Thats why I also made noir detective =D Great visual style and gameplay too. Love the mechanic that makes you watch where you step. Unfortunately cant finish the second level. Found only 3 peaces

UPD finished the game. Enjoyed it very musch. Thank you.

itsisaac 2021-05-06 15:14

Great game! Like everyone else i think the voice acting is stella. I also think it has a delightfull dark humorous tone to it. Only small issue is that it was quite hard to find things to find. Maybe they could be highlighted or something. Good job though! Nice mechanics!

molpe 2021-05-18 16:36

Love the style and the idea. I am really curious about the story, but I got lost in the second level :slight_frown: But I did have fun playing, great job
