I launched the game three times and the three times after more than a minute I didn't get to see any water (and the iceberg didn't seem to move). From the experience I have from Unity, if you use coroutine it can sometimes f*** up when you build and take way more time that it should, so maybe it come from this. But from what I could see otherwise, the low poly style really is cute and Pengui is done really well, I just liked seeing him move on his iceberg. Also I think that the idea is nice, I'll probably retry the game later to see if I don't have the problems again!

@mrpouletbzh Thanks for your feedback and I'll make sure to update this soon, No the game is not using coroutines it may be a problem on the update function if you're experiencing Low Fps It's taking longer but I'll make sure to fix that, Thanks again!

The game isn't working well. It's a pengui walk simulator atm. Music is nice, graphics are too. Good luck to fix it.

@redsorel There appears to be a bit of latency in the start of the game thank you for taking that in not I'll make sure this new update will fix the issue

Man, that's a pretty sad walk-sim. In a good way I mean!

You experience the life of a free penguin, enjoying the beauty of its home land. Infinite fields of ice, splendid white valleys, so solid and so big, surely it will last forever. There's no tree to cut, no land to exploit, not even a place for man to build cities! This ice belongs to penguins, and nothing will ever take it away! Iceburg is eternal. But alas! One day the penguin notices that the water is rising! So slowly, at first it just forms a nice new lake for the penguin to swim. But it doesn't stop, and surely enough, the lake becomes a sea, that keeps rising. The glory of the ice fields is gone, Iceburg is now nothing else but a small island. The penguin can take refuge on the highest mountain, but they knows that it's only a matter of time before it won't even qualify for a hill. The penguin realizes that's there's nothing they can do about it. So they wait. And soon enough, Iceburg is gone, sunken deep under the cold and unforgiving water. And as the last penguin falls deeper and deeper into the abyss, they takes with them the memory of a land that once was sublime, but won't be witnessed ever again.

This must be fun in multiplayer too!

As much as a downer as it is, I really liked the slow pace of the game. It allows the player to appreciate its great visuals, its mood, and the message that comes with it (whether it is intentional or not, sorry if I play the Death of the Author card here). To me it feels like a dark takes on the theme. Thank you for this experience!

@itooh we're all falling victims of climate change  thanks for the wonderful take on the game

It's nice - but I'd call it more of a "toy" than a "game" - following Jesse Schell's definition (he wrote The Art of Game Design - get your hands on 1 volume if U never heard of it, real bible of the game designer :-D) I did 5:09 It's a shame cause the level design is very "made for test" - there's a mountain of ice in the middle of the ice bathtub you're stuck in - get to the top of mountain - wait - die It's a shame you can't move the camera around also Great little tech demo - great execution, very nice Sound Design - gg -:)

@strangeryann Thanks for your feedback and view on the game!

The penguin is so cute and the music is very relaxing. I'd like to have random/more level to explore !

Hi fellow penguin-game developer! :D Like others have said, it feels more like a tech demo gameplay-wise, but I think a really good one! Apart from lacking a more controllable camera, I liked how everything looked and the penguin's movement felt good. I hope to see it fleshed out more!

Not sure if it was intentional, but I got very meta about the game's relation to the theme- not only is the glacier sinking *deeper and deeper*, but having the penguin sit at the peak of the glacier waiting until the inevitable end resulted in many *deeper and deeper* philosophical and existential thoughts. :'( Was very moving to see.

The penguin is really cute, I dig the low poly aesthetic, however a little waddle animation would go a long way for this little penguin. It felt sort of like a waiting game more than an actual game, something you could do to solve this would be some sort of new floating icebergs that appear and start to slowly sink creating an interesting choice for the player to make deciding which iceberg it will go to next using their health as a resource. :penguin:
