Good art
Cute lazy hamsters. Like the idea. My hamsters coudn't play Gameboy. :(
Cute and calm game 🐹
The art and animations are nice and clear. The music is calming. The gameplay felt intuitive at time and a bit clunky now and then.
A few things I noticed: - It looks like hamsters on the surface don't go to the nearest food? - my score was weird: first star full, second star empty, and third star half. Does each star mean a different thing or is this a bug?
Thanks for the game!
@doot Thank you for your feedback! Regarding your questions: - The hamsters will go to a nut, that is not already target by another hamster. - This is just how we visualize the score (inspired how its often done in mobile games). Basically first the first star fills up, then the third one and last the center one. So the more full stars (up to 3) you see, the better was your performance.
Interesting interpretation of jam theme, never thinked about it
Nice art and animation!
Great vibe! Love these types of games. Maybe a couple of things to tweak (maybe already mentioned by other commenters): - I would fix the AI of some hamsters, let the closest one be able to grab the nut. - Maybe be a little bit more clear in what the gestures mean in the dialog boxes. Otherwise really good idea.
Nice game, hard to get the hamsters to use the gameboy.
The music is super chill. I love dragging the hamsters around. I kept trying to drag them onto different nuts so they could gather faster and they always seemed to go for the farthest one. Does dragging them remove their target nut?
Had trouble getting the hamsters to play the game. Other things they would do, but after one use, the game either became unusable, or they said they wanted to play but never picked up the game again.
Graphics are good, music is good, concept overall is a good idea, but felt a little slow.
I really enjoyed this game! It was very relaxing, and I loved their lil overalls. As a kid, I would've played this for hours, no doubt, As other users have mentioned, I had issues getting them to do things once they had the entertainment need in the third level. It would be awesome if you could seen an overall happiness rating, showing a bar for each mood. That would make the burrows much more interesting, since I just added them as I had a need rather than planning it out strategically. Overall, I really enjoyed this game - great work!
Nice entry and refreshing interpretation of the theme. The art is really nice and the music is calming. At some point I can't get the hamster to the GameBoy and I don't know why. But overall a nice game!
First of all: the art is gorgeous. You created a very calming, relaxing and atmospheric game here. The art, sound and gameplay add well together to a soothing experience.
Some critiscms I have: - it's sometimes hard to pick the correct hamster when they are running into eachother - the gameplay feels a bit repetitive after the half of the second level - the hamsters sometimes just didn't want to pick up the nuts, but yeah I guess they are just being lazy there :hamster:
Cool graphics, the gameplay and the mood are really relaxing. Cool idea for the theme !
