I like you game, the graphics and the audio are really nice. The games are ok, not so hard to finish them. The password was easy to find 0708... Good Job. If you wanna try my game is https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/hamsterloop

dark-prince-zen 2020-10-06 12:09

Audio was nice but found it a bit loud. Overall liked it and the variety of puzzles. Well done.

ulisses 2020-10-06 14:56

Hi @misterm , thanks for playing and I'm glad you made it to the end. Actually the game was a little too easy with the task instructions (initially they would not exist) but we thought that maybe some people would be frustrated to look for the tasks so they would abandon the game before the end. I'll check out your game too, thanks for the feedback.

ulisses 2020-10-06 15:05

Hello @ dark-prince-zen, thanks feedback. The audio is something that we really need to improve, but due to the time we were unable to make a very adequate control, with individual volumes. As we are using the same control for everything, and the audios vary in volume, the result may have been a little strange. Regarding puzzles, we thought about developing around 5, but we ended up with 4 because one was combined (the last) and others were either too complex or too simple for the implementation time. We hope you had fun, thanks for rating us!

Cool little game, nice graphics and gameplay

tattomoosa 2020-10-07 05:46

Great graphics, the music was good. It wasn't clear if time was advancing in real time or only as I completed tasks. I skipped some reading thinking I had to move quickly and I think I might have missed some story but now I'm wondering if I could have taken my time.

agentllama22 2020-10-07 05:53

The music really set the mood. I felt the inspiration from among us, and also felt that the gameplay and puzzles were very easy. The game had amazing graphics and wonderful music. Great Job!

rmonthil 2020-10-07 06:03

Really nice little game. It was a very nice story to read with a cool music to listen to. The graphics are very cool and the puzzle nice ! I suppose you didn't have time to do more, but with even more puzzles, it would be even better. Anyway I'm glad I played it !

ulisses 2020-10-07 13:29

Thanks for playing @jagsyfox , we hope you enjoyed it!

ulisses 2020-10-07 13:31

Thank you @agentllama22 , we were really inspired by the tasks of Among Us. The puzzles are really easy, but the idea was to have a greater variety, which was not possible for time. We hope you had fun, thank you!

ulisses 2020-10-07 13:33

Thanks @rmonthil , our artist really worked a lot, as did the screenwriter. Glad you liked the history, art and sounds: D. Yes, our idea was to be able to develop at least 6 puzzles, but we put some together in one (the last one in the code) and with that we ended up with 4. We hope you liked it, thank you very much for the feedback.

amkingtrp 2020-10-09 15:40

I enjoyed that; my only gripe was the walking controls. The direction arrows didn't line up with where I was expecting (e.g. up is 10 o'clock, right is 2 o'clock) with respect to the camera angle. In a sprite based isometric game this is quite usual, but in a 3d game it confused me. But all-in-all, that was a good entry.

frecklebars 2020-10-13 22:47

pretty cool, i loved the story and concepts, props to u for managing to code in actual minigames haha

gammaromeo 2020-10-14 00:25

Interesting game! I have to admit I skimmed over much of the text that popped up and might have missed some important clues. The tasks seemed simple enough and it was a fun experience. I feel maybe some more feedback could be made more evident to the player as in how much time he has left or if you were making any progress. Overall I like the set up and the concept along with the sounds too!

pluisjen 2020-10-14 06:56

Good stuff! This feels really polished and complete, the graphics are cute, the texts give some depth to the story and the controls felt very smooth. The only thing that wasn't super clear was when the looping happened. I'm sure it did, since I had to the same tasks a bunch of times, but would have probably helped to give that more visual impact.

tomssuli 2020-10-14 07:35

Nice polished game, quick puzzles, good graphics and very fitting music that made the mood :)

vphyre 2020-10-14 20:06

The game in general looks very promising. I really liked the graphics and the sound. Most puzzles are interesting as well. I just had problems with the puzzle claimed with colored wrenches. Unfortunately I was unable to resolve it. Either way, your game looks really fun. Congratulations.

siddharth 2020-10-14 20:38

Cool and awesome story.. I was getting some among us vibes. I am surprised u guys managed to put so much into the game in so less time.. Congrats. Also the art and game loop is very well polished.

kekkodude 2020-10-15 10:57

SO! Why does he have a jetpack? and why does he only use it for hovering in one place? WHY DOES HE WALK!

Haha, but in all seriousness, not quite my cup of tea, but i managed to enjoy it. The environment was aesthetically pleasing, music helped out with the setting.

The minigames are solid, worked like i assumed they would, could use some diversity within the minigames themselves for example, you could shuffle where the wires are supposed to go. Maybe also differentiate between logs and tasks

Saved him btw!

jvdwijk 2020-10-16 08:34

This was an interesting game! I liked all the Among Us like minigames! The tasks could use a bit more of a tutorial, since I didn't quite get how some of them worked.

The 4 spinning circles were kind of weird, as I didnt really get to figure out where to really click. Sometimes it worked and sometimes the click didnt work.

The keypad one with the lever was unclear too, I couldnt figure out what to do, its not pressing 1-9 (or 0-9) and when i press the lever the sound goes off but nothing actually happens.

Overall very nice game, loved the details and story in it! Games being a bit unclear in game jams isnt a big deal so well done!

macmist 2020-10-16 10:32

Impressive, the graphics are gorgeous and all the minigames are really cool. The music goes very well with it. Well done!

ulisses 2020-10-23 01:01

@amkingtrp thank you very much for the feedback. We didn't have much time to test the controls, but it makes sense to get feedback on the angles. We will fix this in the future. Thank you very much and we hope you enjoyed it!

ulisses 2020-10-23 01:03

@frecklebars haha, I'm glad you liked the story, it was an important step in the construction process and it was quite a lot of work to think about the game "backwards". Too bad we couldn't fit more props and minigames, it could have enriched the experience. Thanks for playing and we hope you had fun!

ulisses 2020-10-23 01:05

@gammaromeo hello, thanks for playing our game. Our feedback would be the gauge in the bottom right corner of the UI, which advances as time goes on. The problem is that we didn't have time to place other feebacks, like lights and sounds alternating while time runs out. We hope you had a good experience, thank you!

ulisses 2020-10-23 01:07

@pluisjen feedback would be the gauge in the bottom right corner of the UI, which advances as time goes on. The problem is that we didn't have time to place other feebacks, like lights and sounds alternating while time runs out. Thank you!

ulisses 2020-10-23 01:08

@tomssuli thank you! Despite the short time we always try to deliver a polished game at the end, and with as few bugs as possible! We hope you enjoyed it!

ulisses 2020-10-23 01:09

@vphyre thanks, in this puzzle you need to click on the correct order, R G B for it to work correctly. clicking in the wrong order will cause the challenge to restart. We hope you enjoyed it. Thank you!

ulisses 2020-10-23 01:11

@siddharth thank you, we tried to deliver as complete as possible, although we were unable to place more minigames. We hope you enjoyed it!

ulisses 2020-10-23 01:17

@kekkodude haha, the main character was reused from a game that was not delivered, and it was similar to the jetpack joyride. We didn't remove the jetpack because I thought it would be funny for him to use it when he's standing and running around: D. Our idea was really to be able to vary the number of cables, where they fit and to do this with all the minigames, but unfortunately we don't listen to time and we had to give up. We hope you enjoyed it. Thank you for playing and for the solid feedback.

ulisses 2020-10-23 01:19

@jvdwijk there was really no feedback to tell us what state some minigames were in, but we didn't have time to polish this up. We hope you haven't ruined your experience, and we thank you for playing and for the feedback.

ulisses 2020-10-23 01:20

@macmist thanks, we try to do our best! We hope you enjoyed it!

midorimelody 2020-10-23 15:03

This is such a cool game. I love puzzles and it felt so cool to connect the right wires.

jk5000 2020-10-25 09:50

I like the games story and walking around and making takes is a fun idea. The idea with the puzzles is good, but the puzzle could have been better and more interesting. But overall a fun little jam game. Well done.
