Cool!
I can't make it pass the day 15. I don't really understand all the mechanics. Loved the theme tho.
Day 18 is my best result. Very nice game, And I see you are also using the Godot engine, a true man of culture :-)
REally should have read the instructions before playing :D
I couldn't play it on html, so I downloaded the windows version. You posted only the exe and godot requires the pak file to be with it to run. So I downloaded it from the git repository. Not sure if that's the current version but otherwise would be unrunnable.
I wasn't able to get past the title screen before it hard crashed my computer. Shrug, wish I could tell you more but I didn't even get an error.
Made it to day 30! But I think I might've just gotten really lucky. Interesting idea! Wish the systems were explained a little better, it's a cool way of managing resources.
Very tricky game, the city on top (communications) was permanently ??? which seemed like a bug and made it very difficult. I kept the other two under control fairly well and was a bit more aggressive with the unknown city, but I think it eventually got out of hand and started 'exporting' to my other two. Overall was decently fun.
Thank you to everyone who played the game so far! I will reupload the non-web versions with the pal files. Sorry for the issues and thanks for letting me know.
Also want to say that you will need to reload the page to reset the game each time. I know the issue but I don't want to resubmit so late after the deadline. Is it what it is!
Long live Godot!
Enjoyed a lot. Stopping spread is a fun idea and I liked the art style and very simple game play. The game felt like it was going too fast, and the fact you couldn't see one of the cities made it very hard. Well done!!!!!
I loved the art, audio and presentation. I think the balance might be a bit off? I played a few times and every time my communications and oil cities were destroyed really quickly but I could put my hospital city in testing mode and end up with an S rank. That said, I totally understand the issue of balancing a game properly during a jam, and what you've made here is impressive nonetheless.
That was actually really neat with how limited the scope was -- if there were more cities you wouldn't be able to grasp the relationships between stats very well. Not only good for a game jam, but also a nice break from more complicated games.
