The characters look adorable. And the blood sugar concept is funny and original. What engine did you use to make the game?

@itsarjunsinh Thank you, the characters were not made by me, you can see the authors in the credits. I originally wanted to use godot because that's what I'm learning. However, I don't feel comfortable coding yet so I ended up using clickteam fusion 2.5 thinking it will be easier. It was, to some extent, but overall I disliked the engine and I highly doubt I will ever use it again.
Cool little game and I really liked your art, but the controls felt a little flightly/light for how tight you were making the jumping. The controls also weren't explained anywhere so I had to mash my keyboard till I found them out. Love the concept of blood sugar being your life bar tho!
@sirtyler Oh I was sure I wrote the controls in the description but apparently I forgot.Thank you for reminding me, and I appreciate the feedback about them.
Controls and physics were well-done, albeit a little floaty. I think the game could benefit from shorter levels or checkpoints. Especially for the first level. I can imagine a lot of people quitting before they even knew that there were more levels. The lollipop system was cool. Maybe it would've been more interesting if your blood sugar only went down while moving or something so it's not just a timer. Pretty great for a first game, though, and there's something to be said about making your first game in less than a weekend!
@decadedecaf Thanks a lot.Not having to go anywhere because of the quarantine was the only reason I managed to pull it off.I ageee that it should have had checkpoints, I was just really overwhelmed because I had to fix a lot of problems, so I ditched them.
Good overall game, physic is quite good, maybe a bit too hard and a bit too punishing :)
Nice work! I really enjoyed the sound effects here they felt very bouncy, shame you didn't let yourself get voted on for audio
The gameplay was fun and the sprites looked great. A really awesome job for your first game! Maybe some checkpoints would have been nice.
Nice little game. Physics could do with tweaking to make it more forgiving. Other than that, good work. You can edit this post to include control instructions, that would help.
Found a bug, the first creature sometimes spawns in the wrong place and falls into the abyss leaving you stuck.
controls are good, but it feels too floaty. some music would have been cool too, right now it is weirdly silent. nice for a first game, excellent for a jam first game but there is still room for improvement.
Nice first ludum dare game. I like this game much. Next time maybe try add some music.
For your first game this is very good! I do notice some beginner mistakes, like the high pitched sound effects that hurt the ear, but overall this is pretty well done! I like how you have multiple levels. Some parts were quite challenging. The upper left part with the frogs in the second level took me multiple tries. I hope you continue making games. Good job!
@grigri-games @generictoast @super-hadoken @raphaeltan @terrykk Thank you all so much, I will take all your advices into account.
@skyeward Thank you.The sound effects were not made by me.I used this pack: https://harvey656.itch.io/8-bit-game-sound-effects-collection
@sheepolution You have no ideea how much this comment means to me.You're one of the guys that inspired me to make games.Thank you so much!
