Made it through level 1. Did not survive level two. I was unable to keep it alive :( Simple, but engaging. Good job with the on screen descriptions of what is happening. Very clear directions and purpose.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD46 → Balloon Operator

the game seems nice, it's kind of sad because the controls weren't working. i don't know why. I played the html version
I survived until level 3. This level could greatly benefit from the character jumping off a one-way platform with the down/S key. Otherwise good game art & mechanics (some pun intended).
it looks good, but the keyboard doesn't seem to work.
I liked it a lot
Thank for all the thoughts and feedback.
As for the Input not working. I am working on a betabranch of unity with the new intput system that is still in preview. It has had issues with the web version for the longest time, maybe you could try the download and see if that works.
Really nice game, the audio is really crisp and it feels nice to hit something.
Good and interesting game, I was panicing so hard when everything smoked and I had to rush to repair it, that rush element was good implemented
Super super hard game~
Fun concept, though it doesn't seem to benefit much from the platforming aspects. I couldn't get past the level with the switching water, though if that also made the platforming different I could see it all coming together!
Nice work.
I enjoyed it! html5 player worked perfectly for me (firefox/windows), got to level 3
In Level 3 my precious airship went down. The game is very fun to play, for me the controls work perfectly
Played up to the third level no problem. On the second, I'd rather fall to be teleported back than making my way back up.
Having to wait for the platform on the third level killed me the most.
Game is fun to play and looks so nice! Just needed some music and a bit more of playtesting.
Really fun, a little bit hard but sympathic
Level 3 was pretty hard, especially getting from side to side. Had a lot of fun playing though, good stuff!
Lots of nice visual polish, the animations and audio work well together, the game is very challenging! The water mechanic I dont think is explained as well as it potentially could be, but I did like the expansion on it with the introduction of valves. A lot of clear inspiration from the Guns of Icarus games, with some more iteration on tweaking difficulty I think it would be a really great entry!
Jealous of the tutorialization you got going on here
This has a lot going for it... It'd have been easy to go for just the base mechanics, but you also introduce the water & valves mechanic & decently polished on top of that.
The art itself is already fine, but you're doing a pretty good job of animating the sprite, I think (disclaimer: I can't animate at all).
Maybe introduce the valve mechanic with only one balloon in the stage?
This could really go with some music!
Too hard but still very fun! Ponies are always cute, but still would like to see the pony-character having more animations; like the wrench and pony sharing the same sprite. It was way more easy to work the way by just hold down the mouse button instead of tapping it on like million times. On the other hand, on the future levels, just like unfortunately by hitting the valves to lead at wrong position, there would be more hazards, like the gas tanks, which are not desirable to strike at! Anyway, this is a good game, i would see it - after having some small fixes (like more realistic feedback from between the slow and fast speed and the other distances, by difficulty level fixed and having more levels to play) - reaching to have a place in the real arcade stores. Other than an arcade mode, would be fun to have this concept into an idle clicker- type of game, where you travel with the payload and reaching positions you earn more money. Bot players would be an excellent addition, insofar as the game world has to be lonely
engine lights on fire: ok
balloon lights on fire: makes sense
water tank lights on fire: .... wtf???
I don't think the engie horse "lacks in ability to keep things in good health," he can ignite nearby objects just by existing.
I might be lucky for not having any input problems. Nice how you can't get away with just randomly wandering around and whacking stuff with the wrench, and some strategizing was required to pass the stage. Falling off the edge can be used to quickly get back to the center. This kind of makes sense because unicorn teleportation; though players should be punished by this somehow, like getting stunned for a few seconds.
Simply walking is fun and silly, and the non-linear wrench swinging animation is a nice touch; your art style is just good. The only thing I'll nit pick is the fixing sound. The pitch changing is a good indicator and is intuitive, but it kind of sounds like it's breaking. It'll be better as some arpeggiated sweep or a recording of hitting a metal box.
It's difficult to replicate, but I think there's a glitch with the stair climbing code, where sometimes walls can be walked up.
