Very good!
I've been playing the game for a while trying to understand what I'm doing, until I made it to 100 points and felt proud. Still didn't quite understand what I was doing, after reading your description it still felt a bit unclear.
Still, a pretty great job and those 3D models must've been pretty hard to do. I haven't touched 3D yet, so I wouldn't really know. Overall, great job!
Love the art Style. beatufully made good sound track. overall Fun.
Good game loved the style, and loved taking care of those trees. I enjoyed thinking of how I could save them all
Cool concept ! Wish there were more feedbacks concerning the effect of the blocks though. GL with the polish/fix phase !
Cool little puzzle game, I really liked the art style and the concept. There's lots of room for great polish here like some effects and sounds when dropping blocks. Also maybe a hover that explains what each block does so I don't have to alt+tab out of the game to check the instructions on the Ludum Dare game page.
You could even make a set of puzzle levels out of this concept that have a starting set-up and a solution rather than just an infinite level.
Good work.
Nice idea and interpretation of the theme! I had some trouble figuring out what the blocks do but after that it was a pretty straightforward and nice experience. I have to say that I took advantage of an exploit, as repeatedly dropping a random block on an empty patch will eventually make a new tree. I was fairly proud to discover that, even though I don't think it was intentional. Still, good job!
Very engaging! I like the clean art and the music fitted the game nicely. I found it somewhat counter-intuitive that a heavy block could destroy a healthy tree but not a dead and dried one. But I totally understand why that is from the game mechanics standpoint :).
Overall, a really good work.
PS. You should include the web build in your Downloads and Links section, so people can know right away that you have one!
I like it, i'm not normally one for puzzle-style games but this kept me hooked for a while! Although it does feel _really_ bad when you end up with just heavy blocks and only two or three trees to use them on.
I like graphics style and overall idea. I wish blocks that destroy trees would destroy dead trees as well. Good luck!
A very relaxing and pretty puzzler, congrats! I think this is the type of game where keyboard controls would be a nice addition (and maybe it would have been even easier to implement than the drag-and-drop), with the numbers 1-3 selecting the block, and a cursor moved on the field by arrows. Just an idea to consider for a post-jam version :)
A nice puzzle game with cute graphics and a nice idea. For further development, maybe make it a little smarter with what blocks are given rather than completely random since it is quite annoying when you only have the black boxes and 2 fully watered trees. The graphics were lovely though and the music was relaxing and didn't feel loopy of annoying. Possibly added additional sound effects/animations would improve the feedback from actions and make it a little more engaging but overall, nice job!
