This is a really cool game, I think you should consider releasing it on mobile as it really fits the casual games market.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD46 → Keep it a-fly-ve

This is a really cool game, I think you should consider releasing it on mobile as it really fits the casual games market.
The best part of the game is the controls, which are unique, fun, and (most importantly) very responsive. I always felt like my inputs were being registered, which is very impressive for a game made in 12 hours. That being said, the game is far too easy. I think the flyswatter needs to track the player's position better, as I managed to get a fairly high score without moving at all.
> Hi this game sucks
And I appreciate the name pun.
Starts under wine on a mac, but doesn't do anything but a blue screen. Also it grabs my mouse and won't let go, which is annoying.
nice game i appreciate that you didn't have enough time. what i like the most is the art and the idea.
Well that was fun. Took me some time to get used to the fan strength, but after that I managed to save the fly pretty much every time. I noticed the swatter lands randomly so most of the time I didn't even need to do anything. I think it would be cool if it was auto-targeting the fly. Also, I had some scaling issues on a 4K screen - the game was only playing in a small window. Other than that - nice job!
@jpv the game grabbing your mouse is intentional- with the way the game controls it's easy for the player to accidentally click out of the game. To exit the game you press escape, but I guess you wouldn't know that if the graphics don't show up haha
@alexfsmirnov I did make the swatter more likely to land in the general vicinity of the fly, but yeah it probably could've been balanced to be a little bit more difficult. I considered tracking where the fly was travelling but if there wasn't a decent amount of randomness involved you could just go in a circle and dodge everything. If I update this game I might make the swatters larger.
Love the concept, makes for a good experience. Controls are smooth. However i managed to get a high score quite easily. Maybe i'd recommend ramping the difficulty as you go on.
@owen-davies the difficulty should be ramping up in terms of how often the swatters spawn. I guess there could be a bug preventing that since my testing of the game towards the end of development was very limited.
Quick reminder to get more players: Use a thumbnail for your game. Otherwise your game is presented with this grey box. Some great Games are not played because of a missing thumbnail ... You can still change it by editing your submission page :)

@pilarius thanks for the tip, I suspected my game may have a grey thumbnail but I couldn't find it in the games list and I couldn't find anywhere to link a thumbnail, lol
The game idea and the graphics is good. For me the game felt a bit unfinished, and it could really need some music and some sound effects. Overall is okay for game made in only 12 hours.
Very good concept, super simple to understand and super simple controls that are great qualities. You definitly can make something on mobile with this idea. Not only with flies you can change the theme and it will work too. Congrats !
Good job for 12 hours! And I agree, this seems like a perfect fit for a mobile game.
Nice to see it was made in MonoGame~ my project was too. I'm surprised how you managed to make this a short amount of time and make it quite fun. Good job! My highscore was 21~
