I found this to be quite difficult as the amount at which things started to come down increased really quickly. I enjoyed playing around with the physics type gameplay though and saving the kitties :D

Pretty well balanced at the start. I really liked physic aspect of this game, and also, cats, lots of falling cats from the sky and beyond :3
LoL I Manage to stack four thing on the walrus head 😂 And the walrus is awesome <3
The rocks seem a bit overpowered. Avoided everything for a while but i accidentally pushed a rock out of the way and half my health is gone. Other than that, pretty solid game, and very unique and funny concept. Good job!
The music in this is great! Also it really, really captures the feeling of "dream logic" well. Such a mish-mash of random stuff and yet it makes sense: you catch fish because you are a walrus, there are cats because cats also eat fish. In the second level the sudden huge wave of cats really made me laugh. This is definitely one of the funnier games I've played in this Ludum Dare. I think this would be the perfect mini game in a larger game. Gives me real "GTA arcade game" vibes, or maybe a "No More Heroes" minigame instead.
So you're a walrus. And in your dream you are catching cats as they rain down from the heavens, along with rocks and fireballs. And if you manage to pass the first level, you need to catch them in space.
This is, easily, the weirdest game I've ever played in my life. I cannot make sense of a single thing in this game and I love it. I'll be telling my team about this game cuz I found it hilarious :D Really fun game! I loved the 4th wall break at the end.
Happy 20 Votes! :) I enjoyed the game. The game play was basic but the graphics, sound and absurdity did elevate it to a fun enjoyment level. Good job on that! I'd say it's a bit frustrating, that you can't actually catch all falling cats since the movement speed is pretty slow. So letting the cats die is a part of the loop (unfortunately) I did mange to beat the game on my first try by just staying in one place, dodging all obsticales and just catching the cats directly above me. Worked like a charm. Strangely, the last level was the easiest.
Good job nontheless!
@duke Thanks for vote 20, and also for the compliments and comments! I'll just point out that the fate of the cats you miss remains undisclosed! I will establish the canonical interpretation that they simply land on their feet and walk away off-screen, unimpressed by your efforts and unwilling to lend their support by laying around in the scenery. After all, you don't hear them crunch or splat on the ground...
@charles-fernandez your reaction is the perfect one to sum up the game! Thanks.
@thebreakfast I'm glad you liked the music, it was a lot of fun to compose while imagining the scenarios in the game. Your interpretation of the reasoning behind the game is an interesting take. I cannot dispute it!
@random-thoughts The multiple-health-loss from a rock bumping you over and over is a point we'd probably address in any further updates if we continue development. Thanks for the comment!
@dark-power the walrus IS awesome! Thanks!
@mowemax thanks! Eric did a great job with the physics of how dream-cats and dream-ham would bounce around. It definitely makes things more enjoyable.
@louiejams thank you for the comment! Adding different difficulty levels is something we discussed, and may implement sometime down the road.
Must. Collect. ALL THE CATS.
