A classic survival/crafting game, and quite well executed. The camera is very hacky, but it's very playable. Great work :)
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD45 → Lawless Island

A Classic))
Cool little craft game. Lot of craft and exploration possibilities for a 3 days games. I liked the minimalist flowers. Some humours, I liked the metal of honour joke
A pleasant little experience. I do miss sound effects but otherwise, well done! :)
neat game, I had a good time until the trousers killed me. I could not find the black stuff to make the metal of honour...
Great idea! Love the graphics!
Really interesting idea and execution, very on point with the genre. Some of the music reminded me strongly of Stardew Valley. Core Gameplay was okay, I would have liked more information, like, how much health I had, if I was doing damage to enemies, if there was any point in talking to people. Some of the buildings felt kind of useless, I never slept, there didn't seem to be a penalty. I made food, but didn't find a way of consuming it. Made the medal to win the game, but there was no indication it did anything when I made it.
Tip: If you want to fix the jitter with the character and the camera, try placing the movement of the character in FixedUpdate, and the Camera Movement in LateUpdate.
Nice game! I love the atmosphere and art style. I also really liked exploring the island. :island: The controls were a bit annoying, maybe the mouse buttons could be tool/attack buttons? But apart from that it was a really fun game, with plenty of content. Definitely one of my favourite LD45 games!
Great game! I loved the music in the background
The music is very nice! I like how when you die you respawn as another character.
You could add walking with arrows because walking with WASD + clicking "C" isn't very convinient
I really liked the atmosphere of the game and the little music which is very well chosen :)
emmm can you tell me how to chop the woods? idk how to make an axe :(
Thank you everyone for the feedback!
@tarfield Yep we had some problems setting up the camera... We did the best we could. ^^'
@toc The trousers were supposed to be used as a placeholder until putting the correct crab and/or shadow sprite, but we forgot to link to the correct texture until after the deadline. It wasn't that gamebreaking I hope. I guess we could add the subtitle "Beware of the demonic pants".
@occultone Thanks for the long feedback! Yes, the health bar and damages are definetly missing... Sleeping was useful for recovering health (yes, the thing you can't see). Food was useful for some crafts, like "creating humans". And yes again, unfortunetly there was no wining screen, just the satisfaction of getting the medal in your inventory. ^^' And ooooh, very nice tip thank you, I'll remember that for the next time I'm using Unity!
@yayiest Thanks! Didn't think of adding the mouse, but it could have worked! (It would even have solved a little debate we had when talking about the controls.)
@nihushu You can already use the arrow keys (unless there is a bug with the version you are using). Maybe we should have removed the WASD to avoid people getting confused?
@hiroboto You can craft an Axe once you built the Fire-Pit (the lowest building).
Enjoyable concept but needs a lot more polish, not to mention some drastic improvements in controls. My left arm actually hurts from having to do everything with one hand. The game page on itch.io also does not mention that you can switch equipment with the number keys.
@ryusui Hey! Thank you for the feedback! As mentionned before, you could have used the arrow keys to move instead of doing everything with only one hand. (Is using the arrow keys un-natural?) Also updated the ichi.io description.
