Nice game overall, I like the idea. What bothered my while playing was the movement, which doesnt feel quite smooth. Nevertheless, I really like the sounds, graphics and the gamplay all in all :) Great work!

I liked your graphics a lot, particularly using the particle effects to add a dynamic feel to the car sprites and when you picked stuff up. I think I got unlucky with recipes -- I picked up mudcake five times!
One thing I did notice was that controlling the chef character felt a bit "floaty", which is hard when you're trying to control their motions quite precisely in order to dodge obstacles / enemies or pick up the correct ingredients.
Thanks @simxple and @misterkeefe for the feedback, about the movement, we started off with a much more rigid type of movement but it didn't feel quite right. We experimented a bit with it but in the end we figured a more floaty feel added a nice element of difficulty and stress, but maybe we didn't do a great job at implementing it in the game. Thank you for your feedback!
Nice game, really starting with nothing  As the others said, the player movements are a bit odd, something more like a car in Micro Machine which can be difficult to play in a environment more straight as you did, but enjoyable nonetheless ^^ It was a nice concept. I liked the particle system that you made, especially the one with the water.
I only scored 1308, i have a poor memory I guess.
Congrats on your first team entry. Yeah, it needs a good planning and there is never enough time but that's the whole point of the jam :) I like your store but its a bit tough to find the correct ingredients on the shelves :)
Great variation of frogger with different backstory. Music and sounds are pleasant and graphics are, lets say, not bad. One thing i didnt like is this slidy player movement. Feels like walking on ice. Great entry anyway :)
I like it, this game fits perfectly to this theme, but can you make the collider/hitbox on the button of the character, I fealing it give more sence :D
Good game entry! I agree with the "floatyness" of the character feedback, but it's a fun game and I enjoyed playing!
reminds us of the old games from the NES time (and older) it was fun to play^^
At first I thought I had to follow the road to the store and was confused when I couldn't go very far. That's when I figured out it was like Crossy Road and I had to go up and avoid the obstacles. Nicely done! The gameplay works well. I would recommend some fine tuning of the controls. They felt a bit floaty. Nothing that I couldn't compensate for and overall it didn't really detract from the experience, it was just something I noted.
Congrats on your first LD entry. Good job!
A solid, well-rounded entry. Good job!
I really liked the art style of this game as well as the idea itself! The audio also worked nicely, as well as the inventory system! Overall, this is a very good jam entry!
Great entry and fun game! Somehow reminded me of Frogger... Sadly, only managed to get 320 points. But the experience brought smile to my face!
The collisions were a bit off, i.e. getting hit by cars when you are already standing on the other side of the road or when you are waiting for the car to pass, but otherwise I'd say this was a nice entry. Well done!
Yay another muffin game!
That one dangerous city that cooker lives in haha such a hard time to get to the store!. Great game! I liked this frogger reboot!
I liked crossing the street, liked how a car hitting you slows you down. But in the end, i didn't have trouble making it in time, getting the right ingredients was more difficult. Maybe the timer could be running while the player is checking the recipes, so that they have to remember the recipes quickly? The music speeding up in the last 30 seconds was a nice touch! 1820 was my score, I wonder if that is a lot :3
@msamyel 1820 is a pretty good score! our personal record is 2850 though the theoretical highest score possible is way higher, you have to get pretty lucky to get a score above 2000. Thank you for playing our game and giving some feedback!
A pretty good entry. Getting a high score is definitely a challenge.
One criticism I have is that it isn't obvious you should be crossing the roads and not following them, but other than that: good work.
