Neat concept, I hope you expand on this idea because I think more levels with more zombies and stuff could be very cool.
Idea can be expanded and the core gameplay really fits even a mobile game with different control scheme. There are some bugs but they're not game breaking.
Polish is ok
Theme is fitted at a standard level.

Found pathing slightly unintuitive (preference for northeast before northwest; I got there eventually, but a dotted line overlay would be a very big QoL improvement for this UI approach). Would love to have a couple more levels to explore the concept.
Even if it's doesn't match the theme super well, i think the concept is really cool and could be expanded upon a lot if you added more levels
wish there were more levels, this is quite a nice idea and made think it would have been perhaps cool to do a game about lizards that let go of their tail to escape predators ... I like that it is turn based and in future this can become quite a good puzzle game
You could try to fix the overlaping sounds, and add a vfx/sfx to when the user dorps a heart on the ground, i didn't notice it droped and i did that twice before i attempt to move towards the exit.
What a cool idea! Liked the turn based approach. Would have loved to play more levels. But looks like you had the same problem as me (my game also has only 2 levels). Nice graphics and the music really ROCKS. Great job :D

The music is good, but the sounds made me turn down the volume, since whenever you press "make step" in rapid succession, it goes nuts :))) Cool idea, wish the game was longer
Interesting idea and really cool music. I think this game definitly needs more levels though.
Really nice use of the theme, wish it was explored a little bit more (there are definitely cool levels you can make even with only the mechanics you've currently implemented).
Very good concept, but needs more levels.
Neat puzzle game. I like the concept with dropping hearts to distract the zombies while you make your way to the exit. Different types of zombies and additional levels would make the game even better. Also, it's great that you posted time lapse development videos!
