The controller script seems to not be working as intended - the character is moving in a different direction, it seems off by 45 deg (for example to go up you need to press w and d together instead of just w).

Lightsabers look great, so does the character and its movements!

The controls did feel off at first, but then I just imagined the WASD to be a mapped to a gamepad which allowed me to control the character as I wanted.

On first playthrough, I just kept slashing at the enemies, and that worked most of the time. Survived long enough before restarting on purpose.

On second playthrough, I just kept lightsabers open, and circled around enemies, trying to hit them in an arc so the lightsabers collide with enemies. Sure enough, this worked a lot better than before. I was getting fewer "hit" sound effects and scored 1k+ rather easily. Restarted for another try

On third try, I stood still. Enemies didn't move but it looked like they were still being spawned at the center based on the particle effects and lights.

Overall, I enjoyed some good old slashing of enemies. The jump/roll felt smooth as well, but less rewarding cuz of no special attack patterns. I still enjoyed just using the strategy in 2nd playthrough to crush enemies mindlessly :)

@matt-pattabhi @zactical @croben @gcttirth Thank for your playing. The enemies will detect you when you are in the range, otherwise the enemy will stay still. You can hit them without moving since the lightsaber arc collide with enemies like what you had mentioned. I will try to make the game even better than this. By the way, thanks a lot for playing my game because this is my first attempt making this type of game in Unity Engine.

Cool game, very impressive graphics! The controls were kinda wonky though, I felt like it was kinda hard to control my character to where I wanted sometimes. But I can see a lot of room for potential features and other if you worked more on it. Good job!

Nice character quite difficult at first, then I understood how it work and then again I found that it's possible to just run through enemies with saber on to kill them and this point it lose some of is interest. :/

I like the idea and love lightsabers. When you move it seems to be a little bit off, i mean the laser from saber is not staying at it's place. And when you have lighsaber disabled you can still try to hit, but i don't know, if it has sense when it's disabled. Like everyone aboce mentioned, the controls feels strange. What else i can say, what didn't do previous comments... Anyway, you made something playable and put it there, so good job and keep it up :).

@robowarrior1982 Actually the movement player controlled is a bit off and I didn't notice the bug at that moment. Therefore, when you control the character, it is a bit difficult to move where you want.

@nakami Running without hitting is a hack for the game, but still you might get damage from the enemies which attack you from different angle.

@noobexception This is a survival game and just need to survive through one scene and the end of result shows how much you get when you are survive.

By the way, thank a lot for spending your time in playing my game and your feedback. I will try to make the game even better in the future. :)

Character movement and style is overall really good sound effects too. just a bit boring with the balls and I couldn't see my health. But I like the concept nicely done for a compo. If you have time and would like to check out my game please do :v:

Graphics and animation are awesome, very well-polished, top mark for that. Gameplay is a bit repetitive, but complete, which is really good. Sounds certainly add to the mood, a soundtrack would help even more though. Unfortunately, couldn't find how the theme is captured here. Overall, great job!

@mykola Theme is based on the character who attack and gain points; lost health when get hit by enemies means to lost point for player because your life is currency(point). You can gain back the point but the health cannot be gained back once lost.

The movement was really cool, especially being able to leap and roll. Managed to get about 5,000 points. A couple quick recommendations: - I think third person camera behind the character would work better, with lightsaber attacks on the LMB. As it was, it was very hard to control where the character was going. - I found it easiest to kill enemies by standing still. The animations for lightsaber swipes are in the z-axis too much, so make it harder to kill enemies in a lot of cases.

I think this will be a lot of fun to play once you've polished it up a bit though. I hope you will keep working on it.
