great use of the theme and great art. I thought the aiming was really hard, especially the zap weapon and when trying to aim up (since the sprite covers the reticle). most of these type of aiming schemes show the mouse position as the reticle to make it a little easier to aim and so the player sprite doesn't block.

Really good game. I liked the boss fight but couldn't manage to dodge the strike down ability. The character and enemy design looks great, but a few more enemies maybe could have made the game even better. Also are some graphics really detailed and some very simple ( characters vs environment ). The music sounds epic and awesome and really fits the game. Also is the mechanics of sacrificing an ability a really good idea. I think the game could be expanded a bit more, so the world could be larger etc. Also I notices that the boss attacks you ( at least in level 2 ) while you are still on the way to him. Maybe it would be better if there was an arena, where you can fight him. ( I fought him one time just at the starting point ) All in all really great game :)

Nice entry. Very nice character and enemy art. The soundtrack is pretty epic sounding, so it fits your setting very well. I'm not a fan of the theme interpretation but that's just my taste. Nice game overall!
Nice Game. All I can say is, improve in your menu it's a little to lifeless.
Nice art and music, good use of the theme and gameplay with a lot of potential.

Nice Game. Special thanks for the Music Theme, it's short but epic but only start with the gameplay phase. Dash can be glitchy but so pleasant to use, no way I'm scarifying it, but wait gameplay without mouse made the game better ! Good boss phase and a few more sprites for enemy could have been great !
The Art and Music is amazing!
Gameplay suffered from bugs and inconsistencies for me. I couldn't tell how enemies dealt damage to me, I found that I could just push myself into the small ones and kill them without getting hurt, and I had no idea where the hitboxes are for the bosses attacks. Sometimes the slam down attack would hurt me even though I felt that I had clearly gotten out of range in time. The bosses also got stuck and stopped moving and attacking sometimes. Once I beat the 3rd level, my character just froze and I couldn't do anything and nothing was happening. Theres no restart or anything so I was unable to beat it.
I think it could benefit a lot from some polish and visual cues on how all the enemies damage you.
As some other people mentioned, the mouse aiming is a little unintuitive, I would prefer a reticle as well.
Sacrificing your abilities as you go was really interesting! I feel like this actually creates meaningful sacrifices from the player which is a difficult thing to do effectively. Nice Game!
I like the game. Early in the first stage i found that the fire spell works better in my gameplay style, so it was the obvious one to keep during the gameplay, which proved a right choice as i could beat in one playthrough, even being a terrible player. The graphics and sounds are very good as well and the gameplay smooth. Nice job.

The movement + mouse aiming feels great, really smooth. I didn't care for the lightning bolt because it stopped my character for too long. I also found the bombs hard to use because I was throwing them out of sight. I was able to cheese some of the later bosses by trapping them on terrain features and hitting them with bombs though. Altogether a great entry and very well done!
Cool game! The character looks great and the larger enemies are awesome. I think when using the mouse to aim seeing your cursor is important though. I had a hard time aiming the abilities but other than that, awesome work!
Controls are a bit weird with mouse as it is hard to aim the laser but overall it has a nice feel to it. I liked the graphics too. Great work!

Nice art and animations. The aiming is a bit difficult until you get used to it and the BGM gets repetitive quickly, but I like the variety of skills and enemies!
Fun foundation here. Movement and offensive options feel mostly good. A reticle that extends out from the player character would be a welcome change for spells since it's a little awkward to judge. Same for the bomb spell exploding on contact. But I mostly went with melee strikes away. I have a soft spot for dashes and I love having that option to quickly weave away from enemy attacks. I enjoyed that the most.
There were some glitches I ran into: the floor tiles would often distort and I would see lines between them horizontally. The little enemies were perfect. The big enemies at the end of every level would consistently lock up and would stop moving and stop attacking me unless I moved away. I'm not sure if the third level is the last one or not since the game froze after that boss was killed. I then played the game again to see and it froze the second time as well.
Sacrificing abilities at the end of every level is a brave decision when there are so few to begin with. I like the idea but I question if it would work over a full game. Unless you were also finding new spells as you went, or started way way WAY more super powerful and the game progressed like you were losing cheat codes as you did so.
Visually the game was great. Different environments. The big enemies looked the best out of everything. Great presentation. Fun core.
