Congratulations, well done! Maybe the moves are too fast getting a little hard to control Brian. =]

Pretty good and challenging. Grappling hook and dash mechanics were implemented well and audio and graphics fit nicely to the theme
The level design could be easier. However I really liked the dark atmosphere: the music, the graphics (especially the Dark Lord hands)... We can clearly see the artistic intention behind the prototype.
The game is challenging, good job! The game feel is good, double jump, dash and grappling hook are smooth and well designed. The moves are a bit fast and sometimes it's hard because of plateforms which are too small.
I love the global atmosphere of the game. The controls are a little bit hard to grasp, but once you get it it's a really fun game to play, although it's a bit too fast-paced for me. Using the grappling hook feels really satisfying, especially when you were about to lose the game. Good job!
This was fun and challenging, and I was pretty comfortable with using the controls quickly enough (however I realised after closing the game that I completely forgot about dash and felt like I wouldn't need it anyway). The problem is aiming for the small platforms, as sometimes it was impossible to make a move small enough to reach them. I don't know if it was on purpose, but most of the time I was just able to go to the sides of the screen and avoid the penalties altogether. But when I did get penalties, I didn't really felt the change in gameplay anyway. In the end I had a lot of fun trying to master this game (especially the hook which is quite challenging), and was intrigued by its narrative elements. Good job.
Awesome, great work! :top:
@jacquouille No, it was not on purpose, I didn't expect people to avoid the penalties! And I'm like you, I always forget to use the dash. I tried to create situations where it would be necessary but if you took all the dash penalties you would lose for sure. It was hard to create a level design that worked well with my sacrifice mechanic. I agree with you, the penalties may be too soft and you don't lose because of them most of the time.
Thanks everybody ( @lizouille @kaitosoul @larapoi @kalshutein @kaish @johnnyginard ) for the feedback! I'm gonna try to make the moves smoother and think of a better sacrifices/level design synergy.
Really cool atmosphere. It take a few minutes to get the controls but the restart is instantaneous is I don't mind. The game is stressfull in a good way. Maybe it need a slower start. Awesome work keep it up.
I like the mix of mobility mechanics, it turns the game into a pretty fun and skilled game. Nice work.
super cool atmosphere. I love the mnimalistic an dark graphics. The sound design is a success. The game is really challenging, but I believe you wanted the game to be hard. really good platform game. Congrats on making this on yur own in 72 hours !
Holy shit Brian is hard to control :D. After i got the hang of it was really fun. Congratulations!
what a music! nice game ! good job
Nice artwork and cool responsive controls .. but the player's jumpSpeed is just too much.. Can you decrease that ..other than that it was awesome game .. triple jumps were really cool .. Great Work!!
Simple but yet remarkable game design. The first tries I did`t get the controls but you get the hang of it after a few loops. I really like how you brought so much atmossphere out of such simplistic graphics. It`s a bit too hard for me due to the fast movement but I think you did a great job. Only other thing I would have changed is that it is confusing when you go out of the screen at the top.
Nice game! It was a bit hard to control Brian but I got the hang of it eventually. Well done!
An interesting game with a kind of mechanics. I put a rating) Please rating and me, thanks in advance)
The concept of the game is very smart. The narrative aspect brought to the experience a real atmosphere. the controls of the character are quite frustrating (especially the hook). But we can jump very often, so... It's a game that deserves a little polishing to become a real experience.
Bravo !!
Agree with consensus above about controls being difficult. Cool use of audio and the backdrop is neat.
Interesting concept, the execution was a little crazy though. The thing I liked the most was that using grappling hook reset my jump count and I could do some cool hook cancels as a result. I was ok with the controls, I think a lot of people here must've just been using dash too much like I did on my first run. It's fine otherwise. The sacrifice portion of the game looks truly awesome. You did great making the choice seem ominous like there was an evil force guiding you. I think you did well for a solo game and also trying a genre you hadn't attempted before!
