digging the pixel grahpics
Great idea, art is very good and management mechanics are also cool and easy to understand, it was one of the most original and cool concepts I found in Game Jam. Congratulations for the game, keep up the great work !.
Sorry for bad english :/
whoa look at this pixel art graphics. the gameplay's kinda funny, i loved the concept!
i like the gameplay concept, the art and music is nice
Arrgh! I just wept when I saw that this game is Windows only! :) Please, consider porting to macOS (and Linux too!) for your next Jam! ;)
@mediocremonty Also, any chance you could record a playthrough?
@tangiblegames I have the option to port to mac in GameMaker 2, but I can't port to it as I don't have a mac! I'm really sorry :(
I really enjoyed this game. I was finally able to make it to the end, but with zero treasure :( . Music is great and i loved the sound effect when you "dismiss" crew. Overall a great entry.
I made it to the end with 83 treasure! I did not find any food, though. I took a cook to my crew, but even then I found no food. However, I was able to get to the end before my guys starved (had 6/100 on food track left, I'm surprised the crew didn't mutiny )
Overall, a fun little game and the graphics are quite nice!
This was great! This is one of my favourite games from this LD!The soundtrack could be better, but the game is a lot of fun ♥

I like so much the concept and the multitasking required. Good entry :D
Interesting game, loved the art style. It took me a long to figure that you could click the islands for crew. did find a bug that if my ship starting sinking and I threw everything overboard I'd never game over but my ship would still be "sinking"
I thought this was a really strong start. It took me a minute to figure out the weight mechanic but it really is well designed. A little more progression and variety and you will really be on to something. Good job!
Love the art style! Finished on my second or third run which is a good difficulty for a LD game. Mostly pretty easy to understand even without a tutorial. Great work!
Feedback: Few glitches that happened, although I am sure you're mostly aware of them. I went slightly over weight and the game didn't end, the ship just started bobbing up and down in the water and this audio queue played over and over again. I could still keep going though! haha. I couldn't seem to pick up treasure no matter what, although maybe that was because a variable changed when I went over weight that time?
Only non-bug feedback: I wish you could get most of the resources from a box even if you couldn't fit it all. Felt bad to leave it to the sea! (Also tiny feedback that having two soldiers should make you do double damage to the sea monster :D )
:)
Loved the art, and it was a really unique concept! Took me a bit to figure out that you could interact with the islands to get crew members but overall a really fun experience.
Agreed with everyone else, really great artstyle and mood! I hit the same bug as @nafe and my game ended up crashing with my boat bobbing up and down and a horrific audio loop bug. I had great fun though
Nice game! Reminds me of the Oregon Trail.
one of my favorite LD games ive played! kept me engaged the entire time.
