I really enjoyed playing the game, all aspects were great! One question for my future game developments, where did you get that font? I would really like that font you used, and it will help me in pixelart games, like the one that I made for this ludum dare. Thanks.

"You survived for 145 seconds by sacrificing 92 of your eggs. Was it worth it?" A question I was asking myself 10 seconds into the game. Am I only producing eggs to protect my egg production? What do I gain in the end? I love it.
Best score: 53 seconds! Fantastic concept, I love how the hen is constantly reloading my gun. Very addictive, played it at least 10 times trying to break a minute (almost made it!). Smooth and robust, no crashes, no glitches. Very well done. My favorite LD43 game so far.
Loved the voice acting and the little details in terms of animation. I also liked the simple art style. There was also a lot of 'juice' :)

I can see that it was better to roll with SFX than music for a compo entry still it's nice to see you made the most out of it.
The drawings were pretty retro, post-pixelly pre-flash era a style which isn't all that common to see nowadays.
The concept isn't too ambitious but it manages to be what it is without any bugs or issues.
I'm not sure how I feel about the aiming, on one hand it adds challenge but on the other it feels like the eggs are being lobbed too much, when I miss it doesn't always feel like it was my fault which kind of hurts the "sacrifice" philosophy for me. Or maybe it's just that my aim is pretty bad :sweat:

The shooting seems well done, and the shakes and particle effects added to the overall feel of the game. I like how the eggs start piling up once the cannon is full. It would have been cool if there was some variety in the types of enemies or eggs shot.
harder then I thought it would be, but fun and well done!
