This is a really interesting game, having the same concept as scissors paper rock, however twisting it by not being able to use the same "sign" after you use it once, making you often look back over to see what the bot cant defend against. The art is really good aswell, very clean.
Great mood and aesthetics !
Smoooth and simple. I like it ;)
I have to agree with the other folks here, this game is simple but super polished. Nice sounds, nice sprites and it works seamless. Great job!
The artstyle and sound effects fits the simplistic yet engaging gameplay totally. Great job on the visuals! Didn't really feel the theme here, but otherwise super well done!
Thank you so much to you all! :)
Clean and smooth entry. Great work! lovely visuals too.
love the minimalist graphics. Simple concept that work great.
Highly polished well thought out game. elegant minimalism oozing with style. Its funny cause I just played the game that was a bit like this and since at its heart it was an expanded rockpaperscissor game my mind saw the possibilities and Bam! here it is, actually accomplished and well executed. Not even some skin to hide the nature of the game, rock-paper-scissors(-quil-bucket) in its naked glory and yet it fits the theme. On two levels even. Could have benefitted from the having the relashionships show on screen (toggle or a non-intrusive interface element) and making the sacrifice ability more obvious. Only noticed it cause the Ai used it. Overall nice job!
@joh Thank you so much for your nice and valuable feedback. Appreciate it! Yes, I was thinking about making the sacrifice option more obvious with some kind of hint or tooltip. I guess most people didnt notice at all... :) Finally I didn't have the time and energy to implement it and thought its ok that people have to find out by playing like you did. Maybe in the future I will implement an info-button if I catch some time. Thanks again, going to test your game now!
Nice game. Simple, yet engaging. Art is superb and sound fits in well.
Beautiful graphics and palette!
Like others said, having the wheel of strengths and weaknesses in the middle (even a bit faded out) would help a ton, as the first matches you don't remember the equivalences. Having the line of elements in an order of strength, like the external pentagon (rock, scissors, quill, paper, bucket) to at least be able to see one of the matchups would be really useful. I know you went for the order of the title, but I think gameplay should come first and the acronym doesn't suffer either.
After a while you remember them, but it would be really appreciated.
Also, it didn't make much sense to me how the paper could win agains the bucket, does it... cover it...?
You have a beautiful and fun game and I could even see it as a small mobile game. PVP would be an awesome addition too! Good luck with it!
Wow, the game's beautiful, there's a real mood in it, with the music and the leaf patterns <3 Gameplay wise it's a simple but clever twist on a classic, well done!
I loved it
Wonderful visual design! The game does benefit from the sacrificial aspect a lot. It actually made it pretty hard. I couldn't beat the AI consistently, to be honest haha. Sounds were also very well made. Good job!
