I'm admittedly a bit uncertain as to the mechanics of the game. The description suggests we're transferring energy onto the turrets, but there doesn't seem to be any indicator as to how much energy the ship has or how it influences the gameplay. As such, it's a bit hard to really determine theme relevance.
(Note: I played the web version. I don't know if the downloadable version is any different in these regards.)
It's solid, otherwise. In particular, I liked how you could be killed by your own bouncing projectiles.
Great graphics, and very clean controls. The gameplay is alright, not too original but very well implemented either way. Though it's a bit too easy though for my liking.

Too hard to play. Controls are weird cause you play with arrow keys and mouse but for building you need to free a hand to press space... enemies are too fast
I think it's a solid game, but the field of view made it hard for me to see what was going on. Good entry, though.

I also played the WebGL version. A good entry, pretty challenging. I like the sounds, graphics, effects, movement. I didn't like that it just resets after you die. I wasn't very sure when I can and cannot place towers. But I like it! Also, I see what you did there with the theme ;)
