very neat idea !, i hope we have more control for the patient to make them faster to recover, especially some illness that need fast medication like the umbrella one, love the graphic, very clean and cartoony, gameplay also very effective
I liked it, the music was relaxing, which was an odd feeling while making sure people don't die. I found that the "bleeding" patients always died before I could get them to a bed, even if I got them directed before they stopped walking.

Cool idea, the game was fun managing all the beds. The graphics and audio were really nice. Sometimes it was hard to move patients when there is mass of people entering and exiting, so maybe making a separate entrance and exit would make it easier.
i realy like the art style, how do you do that.

Patients blocking each other is goddamn genius. I also like how you can instantly put em down sometimes and sometimes you gotta wait. Ended up just putting everyone down for kicks until I realized I had -3000 bucks. Yes, I'm a bad person :l Bonus points for your description, can relate 5/5. Meta humor ftw
Very cute game, and definitely ran out of space. Good work!
@bovandenberg For the sprites I made low-res pixel art (in MS Paint) then used Trace Pixel Art tool in Inkscape - it came out better than I was expecting lol. The background is just made straight up in Inkscape. Glad you liked it.
@somuch Glad you enjoyed it! I'd be lying if I said play testing wasn't me mainly putting people down... The blocking was a happy accident, blessing of terrible path-finding code!
@marmadukian I was still trying to balance those guys in the last minute... The swines.

@haustgeirr a wise man once said that half the human population was a happy mistake. I think he was being overly generous but hey what do I know?

One of the best executions of the theme. The only thing some of them die before the have a chance to arrive to the beds.
Great take on the theme! Nice selection of diseases. Was it intentional that some patients die without any chance of making it to even the closest bed? I mean, it is sort of appropriate from a thematic standpoint, but still struck me as odd.
@tattomoosa Thanks! No, it wasn't intentional. First jam jitters and I didn't play test enough lol
Nice and original idea, liked the gameplay. Art is awesome.
Keep up the good work!
Neat concept and cute graphics. I like the different ailments and how people lose health at different rates depending on the severity. I think the gameplay could be a little better paced to give it more of a puzzle game feel. Seems like there is just a mad rush and I was just clicking any person to assign to the next available bed. The "bleeders" seemed to die before I even had a chance to assign them to a bed. After a few minutes of playing, it seems like there were so many people that they got stuck trying to get into the room. The game also seems to go on forever with no end (I ended up with negative money).
Neat concept, cute graphic, and nice audio. I love how each sickness had its own graphic so I was able to tell if something would take longer to heal or not.
i think it would be better if punishment was more severe because it would speed up the game and force me to sacrifice people. So basically, it'd force me to play the game the way it was meant to be played. Also the whole screen resolution thing too lol
Other than that! Great game!
pretty cool game! great art style and addicting gameplay! the illnesses are really funny and creative! some of the patients though die really fast, not able reach the beds. adding more mechanics other than the bed would make this a really great time management game!
Good looking game, great work for a first jam! Selecting patients seemed somehow difficult. Another problem is that the patients line up in such a way that you can't really tell what's going on when it becomes crowded. Some patients died so quickly I think I could not have saved them, even if I could click on them fast enough.
