Hey, can you upload your game in another server? (like mediafire, github..)
Hey, I'd be happy to review your game. Try dropbox and/or google drive. most people wont download from 4shared.
Just as a tip, you guys should really putted the game in a more friendly server like github, dropbox, google drive, itch.io or mega. A HTML5 version as well attracts many more players.
That said the game has in interesting mechanic, but i couldnt figure out how to go beyond the huge straight part. The lack of visibility of what is beyond made me impossible to guess what i had to do. However, the controls work pretty smoothly, the acceleration, jumping and going forward and back are nice.
@guilhermesouza @catbutt @derek-volker Thanks you all. I changed the link to google drive now, better? Sorry for that mistake, but like I said, it's my very first game, I'm learning hahaha
And @derek-volker I was thinking about that path missing, sorry for that. There's a moment you have to run fast to right on a long platform and on the final have a ramp, there's where you missed the way? If yes, try to go a little to the left.
The camera view was a big problem to me, I tryed to make the game on third person, I lost almost 2 days on that, then I gave up and made a "2D" view. If I had more experience, I could made a way better game with the idea. 💔
Thanks for your feedback!
Good job making your first game in 3D. There was clever use of the bouncing mechanic. I got stuck on the long segment with a hook on the end like other people did. I think like another person suggested, this could be made more solvable by making sure players can see where they're going.
@divinenephron Thanks man! As soon as I read your comment, I edited the game to facilitate location of the path to be followed. Here come's Alpha 5 hahaha
Was fun to make the first few jumps. Especially the ones where you're going real fast. The loop jump didn't work for me cause I got stuck going up it the first time. Not sure what this game has to do with the theme. But good job either way!
@logicon211 Thanks man! If you miss the platform, you die, and the final end has parts where it gets clearer. At least that's how I thought about linking my game to the theme hahaha
This was cute and fun! It asks for an audio rating, but as far as I can tell, there's no audio? I love all the floating text, though! :smiley_cat:
Thanks @astralore ! haha in fact, it only has audio when the ball hits the ground, rolls or when it is on the elevator haha
PS: Oh no! I forget to add the audio on the FIXED version! PS2: Fixed the FIXED version HAHAHAHA thanks for the warning!
I got to the point the game displayed "now you are ready" but missed a jump - when I realized I had to start from the very beginning I got disheartened. It was neat up to that point though, so no point drops! Just wanted to suggest that there be a check point in any future update so I can avoid the "training". Good job - I like building up tons of speed for one jump and flying through the air for a long time - all those arrows helped give a good sense of movement! Good job.
Hey! The game is rather fun, but it seriously lacks checkpoints. It's really hard to get far when even the smallest mistake will cost you a lot of time due to having to beat the level from the start all over again. The sound on rolling the ball could use some variation or some change in the looping - it can get really annoying the longer you ride. Some tell for how much momentum you have would be nice too. I found myself reacting too late and being unable to turn my momentum around.
Still, for the first game, this was a solid try! With some polish, it could be really good.
OH MAN! Thanks both of you @johnnwfs and @shozou ! Your feedbacks will not be in vain! hahaha
I will discover how to make checkpoints and the audio change with speed thing! ahhaa
- it needs checkpoints - the handling is really heavy - I don't really see the theme
Other than that nice job I wanted to finish it =)
Thanks, @nalah !
I have one word for you: CHECKPOINTS. Other than the complete lack of such, great job! The mechanics worked pretty well, and the graphics were quite good! The audio was alright, although it really didn't fit the theme.
Cheers! - The Koala Squad
Congrats on your first entry!
Thanks @koala-squad and @mastersmith98 !!!
This was pretty challenging, but a lot of fun! Thanks for sharing your game with my stream awhile back. Your game was played around 2:56 into this vod: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/299925225
Thanks @ursagames ! It was my pleasure!
