I like the main menu and the bear. The game however felt like it missed a challenge, I went on to about 700 and decided to see what death looked like because I kept waiting for a challenge to appear but there was none.
The crack in the ice is really well done, I found my self running around it just to look at how it bent and curved all around the ice.
Well done, I liked the ice cracking effect and the overall look of the game.
Concerning the gameplay, it worked fine but it was way too easy. I basically kept going right all the time and was never in danger, so I just stopped at some point.
I would have loved some sound effects too to make things more lively.
Other than that, neat game!

The graphics are great and the concept could've been better implemented.

The challenge is only to get the highest score possible before reaching the coast. The closer to the cracking ice you are the faster you gain points. Bonus points for eating seals.
This Jam for me was about learning to generate procedural meshes, so that took most of the time (and still gives me a small headache)

830 points! Would have loved a bit of audio in it, but I know how little time there is to anything in a game jam. Good job. :)

Nice work! I made it to the coast without any trouble, so it might be a bit easy. I didn't understand that you score more points if you're closer to the edge, so maybe some way of showing that would help, like bonus points notifications or something. I definitely got the feel of the theme, and the graphics are pretty cute.

I like the bear animations. I noticed that at 16:9 you can see the edge of the ice before new ice pops in, but at 4:3 it works fine.

"This Jam for me was about learning to generate procedural meshes": And that is what LD is for! So congratulations! :v: I was really amazed by it, really nice looking cracking. I reached the beach, so I will survive another summer, but the ice was not really challenging indeed! Well done

Technically interesting game. I see you spent most of your time on the programming bit hehe. Good job anyway :)

Technically fine, but very one-dimensional gameplay
Looks pretty good, but it gets kind of boring overtime, as it is not really challenging.
Really nice graphics. Bear sometimes blends with the background. Overall nicely done.
The cracking ice and the water looked good. There were times when I could see water on the right on 16:9 resolution.
I wish you had a tutorial or something so I knew how to play without dying. Game is confusing. Interesting take on the theme though.
Really liked the use of the theme, well thought ^^
