Movement and controls felt great.

Very interesting concept! I liked the 'never retreat, never surrender' aspect a lot. The attacking also felt very satisfying; it seemed to have a very generous hitbox.

I think parrying was kind of weak though since it still moved your dude backwards (and they're essentially expendable anyway). it'd be cool if it deflected the bullets or something more useful.

Overall, I enjoyed it. Good Job!

Well, although it is a simple game, I liked the graphics. I think that a basic music would have improved the mood. Nice job!

Good job on the submission! The animations for the characters were impressive for a game jam game. I got a score of 11955, though I did spam as many soldiers as I could to see if I could break the game. ;) It would be great to see your high-score stored so that you can play against yourself! Keep making games!

Graphics are amazing. Lacks a sound and music though. Good job!

Nice game, I like concept of spawning warriors, so I made tons of them and just spam spawn and dash attack :D I found that you can increase score just by attacking, not by killing, and found it kinda weird :D

The graphics are the game's strong point, as people have pointed out; the animations are impressive for a compo game. My chief complaint here is that while you can't game over, you can softlock: If you spawn in front of a bunch of turrets you die instantly. If you parry before they kill you, you're stunlocked and can't move. Eventually my game just glitched out and would only spawn soldiers off-screen to the left, because I'd been pushed back that far by the bullets.

I would have liked to be able to choose where I spawn, so it's not right in front of a turret or in the middle of enemy fire. Also, really confused about the score. Spawning new soldiers felt insubstantial, since I could get the score back just by attacking the air in front of me.

This game was a lot fun to play, but it kind of misses some challenge as you could re spawn an infinite army. Being that overpowered was a lot of fun nevertheless and having the minions look like some spartan figure supported the overpowered feeling quite well. Great Game, Keep it up!

This was an interesting concept and quite fun! Really neat graphics and felt pretty polished. Nice work!
