Once again, an excellent game! With some more time this could become a masterpiece. I think the problem with it is that the type of game that you are aiming for takes a lot of time to make. I couldn't make this in weeks probably, and you made it in 48 hours, insane.
Setting some minor bugs aside, the biggest screaming flaw about the game is the fact that you can't lose and can't win, which is a real bummer. I'd love to see this (and would pay to play it) finished where you can actually win (and by extension lose). It's a huge flaw but understandable given the time frame.
Once again, GG, looking forward to your next game :-)

Some minor bugs here and there, but other than that a really good game. Especially for this type of game and made in 48 hours, like just wow. Great job!
Once it's more polished, I'd love to play it again :D

The tool-selection state is a bit-glitchy sometimes; it took me a while to figure out why i couldn't clear more tiles despite having a pickaxe selected. It also took me a bit to figure out that the trees where clearable tiles :P Overall, a VERY impressive effort given the time contraints.

I really liked the concept of this. It was kind of buggy but you made all this in 48 hours so that's understandable. Even though the art wasn't great looking I kind of liked it. It was a little annoying having to wait for the workers because of how they would do something and then randomly go somewhere else where I didn't need them. If you were to fix the bugs and expand on this a bit it would be a great game.

Pretty nice but sometimes my workers weren't doing anything for seemingly no reason. Not being able to automatically lay ladders was also a pain.

A beautiful game. A little bit more sense and reason and it would be a major hook for me.
I reached a point where the workers kind of seemed to have broken down mentally and kept running around while I gave them actual tasks. Otherwise the game seems to have some pretty respectable AI.

Great game, quite an accomplishment for 48 hours! My first game failed horribly, was getting attacked before I could figure out the basics, second game I seemed to build up an impregnable defense and mined out a large amount of the mountain before the game finally froze.
I was really confused with workers not doing anything until I remembered what you wrote and realized those weren't workers, but guards, smiths, etc, and weren't supposed to be doing anything. Just a color swap on that would have gone a very, very long way to getting a better feeling of what was going on.
I had a lot of difficulty cancelling tasks - sometimes alt-click would work, other times they would just stay there, or a bunch of random clicking, right clicking, switching tools, etc, would eventually make them go away. I think these were often tasks that I didn't have enough resources to finish or something. Final hang was when trying to remove a "Clear" task though.
Game of the year, every year. Also don't make a strategy game next time.

Mechanically, one of the best games I've played so far, incredible how you managed to do it in such a small timeframe. The flow of enemies feels just right for the player to get used to the mechanics, whilst realizing that they won't be able to hide behind loads and loads of wooden walls forever (totally wasn't my strategy).
In terms of improvements, there were times when I had to right click a bunch to get the 'mine' command to work again for some reason. Not sure if it was just my PC, but I found that particularly finnicky when that happened. Certainly not a game-breaker or anything like that though.
Additionally, it could certainly use a tiny bit of audio, even if they're just little things, as right now it feels a little awkward without anything of the sort. Other than that, this game was solid, and could evolve into something special with the right tweaks. Great job!

Thank you everyone, its comments like these that really make me enjoy game development.
@oliverlevay Turns out I wasn't calling the method to allow you to lose, so thats now fixed. Did you get all the research, or was it that winning just took way too long.
@mrthee, @jimbly, @jakers I'll look into the mine/clear tool, hadn't realized there was a problem with it.
@max-amaden Thank
@isogash As much as I would love to add this, I think it probably doesn't count as a bug fix so I can't really do it.
Ill also look into fixing the workers a bit so they don't derp around quite so much.

Very nice game! It took a while to learn and althought it's bugged, it's good. There was nullreference exception. and other time my worker disappeared. Good job! I'll play more later!

@arputikos Yay, bugs. Is it possible that you could send me the output log file if you still have it, should me in the RiseOfCorruption_Data file. I think I know what the cause is but just to check. Thanks for playing my game anyway.
