This one was timely for me - I'm taking a break from EtOH and man did this make me not miss it!
This was really short, but probably the most fun I've had so far reviewing these. I wish there were more levels! There were some issues where I didn't seem to be able to drink in some bars and there was no UI to explain why I wasn't able to drink? The progress bar wasn't full or anything, sometimes I just struggled to get the game to let me drink. Also, I really love the idea of reading all the comments for your game out of context later because the nature of the game makes talking about it really funny out of context!
5 bars, personal record. Who can beat me?) Nice game.
This game is absolutely hilarious. I couldn't help but get cracked up xD. Simple and much fun. Also the beergoggles are spot on!

Very funny. The progression of getting drunk is really great how it starts really subtle, but by the end there is no hiding it. I think when I noticed the meter get blurry is when I geeked. Thanks for making this. Not sure you how you did this graphically, but the post-process / drunk effect is very nice. Great job.
For me, it's just boring. Sorry. No action, just go from one bar to another and drink. Also, in the bottom left bar, I didn't see the meter get filled for how much you have left to drink. However I love the effect you made (the blurring)
Awesome game, so fun yet so simple! well done with the effects, the staggering caught me out once or twice towards the end and took me a while to see properly after, so very effective! couldnt find any bugs either so kudos to you.
A funny little game. Though the winning strategy turned out to be pick a bar and not upset the owners by taking some pauses and letting the bar to relax before drinking more. And this way you can't get caught because you don't get kicked out.

Fun little game, smooth for what it is. I'm not sure if the concept can last past a compo game but it kills a good few minutes. Music and graphics are simple but good and easy to understand. You can abuse the system in the current build by just staying in one bar and drinking intermittently and not have to move. Maybe just have a fixed drinking limit per bar to force players to move around.

I'm glad you all liked the drunk effect :D and yes - there's a loop hole that you can finish the game without much effort - sadly didn't have time to fine-tune the numbers :/ - but if you didn't catch that, it can be a bit challenging (and yes, there are a few bugs that I only saw after the deadline. sorry about that) Making several levels didn't even cross my mind. should've thought about that. oh well, next LD... It's my first LD. lessons learned.
Simple but coherent visuals. Absolutely loved the music! Hearing that acid sound in combination with the classic yellow smiley, this could also be a game about 90s xtc consumption, haha.
The visual effect was a nice touch, but I kept expecting to walk funny as well, which didn't happen. It also occurs to me that it might be nice to have some sort of score at the end :slight_smile:
