For a one person game, I can see that you have put in effort. One thing I really hate was the controls though, it just feels so weird. Also, it might be better to remove the bombs since they don't work the way I expected. Great work nonetheless, you managed to complete something for LD39!

Thanks for the feedback @rakugakid . Yeah, when I was tweaking the controls, it took me a while to get something I was "happy" with, I considered changing them to make them less floaty and bumpy and more responsive, but I felt that it almost added to the game with the floaty controls after testing, so I decided to keep them. As for the bombs, I didn't really experiment with them too much as they were basically a cheap way for me to make sure the player couldn't get surrounded in an inescapable map.
I'm a fan of the concept here, and am impressed you went for random levels. The tricky controls and numerous enemies were tough to deal with though, and I didn't see a lot of connection to the theme either. This could turn into something really cool with some more time and polish though! Personally, I'd love to see some health pickups to make it easier to recover from low health. Thanks for putting this together for the jam!

Nice work! Can be difficult to get a good procedural engine going in the short amount of time, and this felt pretty good. Controls took a bit getting used to, but I actually liked the floatiness. Made it to the top once (although I could barely see at that point :D)
The floaty controls make the game more difficult, though it seems like that is the feel you were going for and it definitely works. Interesting idea with having to kind of dig your way to the surface but be careful while doing it. Sorta fun, would be even better with a bit more content and variety, if you fleshed it out a bit.

Very good work! I couldn't stop playing till complete it.
Oh god this game is brutal! Sooooo many mines! And it does not get easier over time.
Made it on my 5th try!
5 stars for fun! Keep up the awesome work.

Simple, yet well done, concept that is surprisingly fun.
The game is still a little rough around the edges, which is to be expected, but there are a few interesting design choices that really sell the game. The humour really adds some charm to the game, which makes losing not feel so bad. And the visual effects are a nice touch. Kind of neat to see how you used some simple systems to add another layer of depth and fun to the game.
It would be nice to see this taken a bit further with some progression, maybe start in a safe area where you can test the controls, then an easy zone with fewer enemies, etc. Could perhaps tie spawns to the level depth.
The web version didn't load for me but the download version worked fine.
Some criticisms: As others have said the bombs act a little weird, didn't expect it to home back to me like the 'enemy' mines in the level, and as they are identical it's hard to tell what's going on with them sometimes. The text-boxes are a little oddly positioned and a tad too fast.

Thanks for being part of the stream :)
This game was really fun and I was able to win one game, after playing 2 or 3 times :P It was maybe a bit hard and it felt a bit impossible at times.
I made a youtube video of me playing this game and 4 other games :)
