Awesome work on this game! It felt smooth and fun to play, though it would get hectic after a little while! I especially like how you could bounce the red fireballs away from you, that was a lot of fun to try and aim! I think that some more types of enemies could be good, but as it stands it's a solid LD entree, great work, hope to see you again for the next LD!
Good game! Effects were nice, something about hitboxes / movement felt a bit sticky sometimes, but I enjoyed the fighting mechanics.
I love this game, It has good graphics, good controls, and also VIOLENCE.
Nice game, the sword felt a bit slow to respond. Nice enemies and feel good job guys! :)

Very good game. I like that you have to work your way through the blocks and enemies. Great Job!

Loved this one! A little bit too hard and too repetitive, but ... the graphics are rather cool (and the scrolling is smooth), the music fits the "hellish" mood perfectly and the punchy sound effects give gives a nice game its arcade feeling. Good work!
Neat game. Runs smoothly, core game mechanics are good. I like the music, and the game feels complete.
Unless I'm wrong, I only get two hitpoints that never recharge? I think that's a bit harsh. I think it would have been cool to mix the health points and energy (would fit the theme even better), but that's just a subjective opinion. I also wish I could fire off the screen. The enemies can hit me while they're just outside, but I can't shoot them. Also, game feels a little bit too difficult in my opinion. It might just be because I'm bad at video games, but I wish it were a little bit easier so I could get through more levels. Always remember that while you've had 48/72 hours to practice, we only get 5 minutes.

This was a perfect game for Ludum Dare. It was very fun to play and the graphics were phenomenal. The music and sound effects were nice too. This is definitely one of the best entries I have played, very well done!
Great work! I loved the mechanics and the graphics are very nice. The game was very difficult for me though. Maybe you could make the start easier and then increase the difficulty along the way. But all in all really good job :) P.S If you would like to check my game and rate it that would be great. Thanks in advance.
This is a really cool game.
The only thing I might improve would be that sometimes you get a bit stuck when trying to move alongside boxes.
Other than that it was really good :)

That was really fun. The sword and rifle both felt like effective, meaningful tools, and the combination of the two was a good foundation for gameplay. You also nailed the feeling of escape - rushing through areas was almost always a better option than trying to stand and fight. The visual aesthetics are strong and cohesive, while the soundtrack gives the game an almost meditative edge. However, the sword did feel like it would benefit from being sped up somehow, and I occasionally found myself failing to take shots because the plasma bolt materialized inside a wall. The game provided a good variety of enemies and challenges. I especially liked how I could use the sword to deflect enemy shots. Strangely, the most awesome I felt during the game was one particular instance where I got hit while spinning around to shoot one of the fast enemies and took the killing shot in slow motion. Well done!

This game is fantastic! Really the only flaws are that I think the enemies could have slightly better AI, and that sometimes way too many enemies would appear on the screen at once. I thought that the melee was done really well, and I love how it draws that line in between the weapon and the cursor. Great job!
