Cool idea with the robot cleaner :)

"You knocked over a trash can!!!" Games have been teaching me terrible habits for all my life. T_T

Actually quite fun, and I like the visual aesthetic (esp. the abstract robot). The one thing that was getting to me was the high frequencies of the charger plays; it would be a good sound effect for warning a player, but its usage on a positive area was unfortunate. Still, the high-tension music worked well with the theme!

@ikstreamivo thank you so much for the nice comment!

hazza 2017-08-01 07:31

@austinspafford I appreciate you commenting in detail! Haha thanks for the comment on the music. First time making "music." and 'art" XD yeahhh... on the topic of the charging sound, my partner and I debated that but sadly did not have time to fix it. Thank you though!

I like this game. Visually it is very simple, but the style and color choice works very well. The SFX and music is surprisingly enjoyable for how zany it is. The gameplay feels a little more tedious than puzzle-y, seems like the player pretty much has to go back to the charger after grabbing any of the trash?

hazza 2017-08-01 08:05

@xero560 omg thank you for the kind words! You are correct. The gameplay can be tedious. I think if we focused on the puzzle-y aspect of the game, the gameplay would have turned out better!

Simple mechanics, but with a good theme and great graphics!

wheffle 2017-08-02 08:15

Love the idea and I had a lot of fun with it. But man, what is with that music?? Hahaha, it was nutso. The controls also seemed a little floaty, I understand that might be part of the challenge, but it added a little bit of frustration. Overall really fun, though, I enjoyed it all the way through! And the concept really tickled me.

I really liked it, even if the power drained a little fast for my liking.

holypangolin 2017-08-03 15:11

Very cool idea! Great mechanics! Could have a bit more energy because it was a bit frustrating to recharge every couple of seconds. I really like the graphics of the core game but at the beginning there were too many colors that didn't really fit (when you start the game)! Music is a bit annoying for me. Otherwise very nice game!

Interesting idea and fun concept to control a clean machine. I would recommend you to make the movement faster and please be careful with the sound, it was hard to concentrate! Nice job, good luck!

hazza 2017-08-04 01:13

@drewg8 thank you so much for the kind words!

hazza 2017-08-04 01:16

@wheffle haha thank you so much for the reply and for playing the game. I never made any kind of music before lol We wanted to make the whole project "in-house" and that required one of us to make the music lol

hazza 2017-08-04 01:18

@toonteamj yeah we sometimes as well do feel that the power does drain too fast. But thanks for playing the game and commenting!

beamkirby 2017-08-04 01:19

I feel bad that this Roomba has been cursed with a family that leaves whole bananas and bitten apples lying around on the floor. I also feel bad that it lacks a decent battery life. But I guess that's the challenge here, huh?

hazza 2017-08-04 01:20

@holypangolin thank you so much for the comment! Yeah.. the power seems to be an issue. We thought of dropping power batteries around the levels so the player can pick them up and recharge.

hazza 2017-08-04 01:21

@mr-houdini thank you so much for the comment!! Thank you for the suggestions/advice as well ^^

acoto87 2017-08-04 02:46

Good idea. The music for me was a little creepy for this game (or type of game). Other than that, great work!

hazza 2017-08-05 06:16

@acoto87 thank you so much for the comment and playing!
