I like the idea and can definitely understand the feeling of trying to avoid people in the grocery store. I also love the title and use of the theme!

It is, however, very difficult to control the character, which makes the game annoyingly difficult. If you fix the movement, then I think the game would be a lot of fun.

Nice! Very unique take on the theme, but you pull it off well. I do wish I could see more below my character though, I accidentally ran into 'enemies' a couple of times! :(

I can totally relate to the narrative behind the game, but couldn't connect to the game itself. I feel like the choice to use 3d assets kind of harmed the game, and combined with the lack of sound (maybe just for me?) really threw me off the engagement. Id' like to see this with more polish, as I think that this is what currently needs a fix the most.

I really like the take on the theme of "it's a small world after all", and the game concept was also pretty solid.

I think the game needs better pacing though (e.g. having a count down/audio cues for people getting near you...etc).

I liked that you used the red particles to indicate where the items are located in the store, but I think it would have been pretty helpful to have a shopping list like the UI you used for endscreen (which was a nice touch on a notebook paper, since it's usually teachers that run into you haha!) Great first entry though!

Cool idea, but my old biology teacher is a freak for wanting to know THAT BAD what I'm doing! The game was fun to play, at first I didn't know I had a list of stuff to get so I just hid in the corner until I saw the countdown.

The controls need a bit of tweaking and it would be really nice if the camera was rotatable, but hey, what can you do in one weekend, right?

Good entry, nice take on 'small world' theme!

You should fix your web link, it appears to be https://rmershon.github.io/LDJam/index.html not Rmershon.github.io. The web version crashed when I hit play as well so I had to go back and download it.

I think it is crashing because of how quickly things start when you load the game. The windows build also took awhile to load the level. When I start I immediately lose as well because someone is standing right on me. After a few attempts I got to play since it seems random spawns are the culprit.

I like the idea of the game. I think if the player could move a little faster it would be a bit easier as well.

I loved this game. The 3d structure of the grocery store is on point!

One thing that probably needs to be changed is the initial position of the biology professor. I ran into her immediately after I pressed the play button. Changing her position probably to the back of the grocery store would give the player some time to adjust to the game and to move around before getting caught.

I enjoyed how the AI operated. The science teacher really gets ya! I enjoyed the art and I thought the science teacher was much too fast.

Nice to see your take on the theme, our games are so close in mind :) your grocery shop is very detailed. our game lack of challenge where yours is a bit too challenging i think. avoiding a character is very hard and i couldn't manage to finish the shopping list. I stopped at 3 articles because of my science teacher! i liked the hide and seek idea some feedback on line of sight would have helped on choosing the path we take. Thanks :)
