Sorry, but I can't play this game.
Once the game start, it gets stuck in a white room.
The problems is probably that I don't have any VR controller.

mighty-buxx 2016-12-13 20:38

Same here stuck problem(

This is a roomscale game. You can't climb without vive or rift controllers. There's no way to make it work without them.

Didn't get past two ladders. But it was very fun throwing myself in the air frantically trying to grab something ? The grip buttons would've been a tad more intuitive for grabbing, at least as an secondary option. Still, a good game.

(Can't play without VR)

@Geti

(Correct)

@neon
THANKS FOR PLAYING!

The first jump to the left or right is one of the hardest to teach you how to fling yourself and catch the ladder. There's at least 1 path that is possible that I know of.

The reasoning behind using the triggers instead of grip was that the triggers are generally easier to press and when you're flinging your arms around quickly it's less likely to slip out of your hand when you let go. If I were to polish this I would add the option to use grips and also different ways of movement, and make more than 1 type of thing to climb.

Cool entry. I really wanted to beat it, but it was too hard for me to do so. I got about halfway up I think.

The reflections all around you were cool, and I liked how they helped you see how far you've progressed.

Oh man! I freaking loved this! Flinging yourself from ladder to ladder makes you feel like a crazy acrobat - and missing the grab and falling to your doom reminds you why acrobats are so thoroughly trained. I didn't really understand what I was looking at or why I was getting stopped at strange invisible walls until I realized - I was looking in a mirror! I felt like an ostrich not recognizing itself the first time. I will admit, grabbing the rungs out of the air was prohibitively difficult for me; I was only able to make it to the second ladder a few times and never caught myself on the third. Maybe if the sides were grabbable as well? Anyway. Cool thing! Thanks for making it!

oyoh 2016-12-20 23:32

kmausser 2016-12-22 03:06

@Ednei

You should get VR.

hlavik211 2016-12-22 14:04

It looks like good game but I dont have vr.

accbdd 2016-12-22 21:57

more vr games!

emmelineprufrock 2016-12-23 06:07

Not rating because I don't have the controllers -- it would be really interesting to see if you could make a video of what it is like playing the game? That way people without VR could rate the jam game.

ThijsTak 2016-12-23 13:03

No VR. --WL

Flinging yourself around took more coordination then I have. I liked the head mounted spotlight. I noticed the torch's flare did some stranger billboarding. Rather than being projected towards each eye, it was projected to some point maybe relative to my head... I didn't look at the desktop, maybe it was projected to a 3rd person camera.

Good job on this, and thanks for making it.
