Great work on graphics and art direction
Woaw ... just beatiful.
I love voxel and it's just perfet here, the light is awesome too.
But the gameplay is not perfect, it's ugly that clicking ennemie just destroy them.
Great job :)
The graphics are beautiful I really love the fire effect. The only thing I can think to suggest is maybe adding some sort of attack animation so you're not just clicking. It was still really enjoyable though and super impressive for the amount of time you had to work with.
Beautiful graphics!
Very nice atmosphere. Loved the blocky graphics and animation. Seeing this makes me want to understand shaders and lighting better. Primitive cave man is understandably selfish about his fire :) Sorta makes me think of 'missile attack', only there is only one base. Could work as a 'how many seconds I can survive' game, with a leaderboard and such.
Hi, nice game and congratulations ! Simple mechanics that still offered a decent amount of challenge. We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #36. We made the same thing at the previous jam.
Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description. (you can already find several games from the jam there)
Great art style and atmosphere.
I think I would have preferred to control the character with arrow keys over mouse click, but I've never been a fan of click to move in action games.
Could have used more sound effects, and made the fire sound loop better.
I liked the art style a lot. I did not like how simply clicking on the enemies makes them disappear, I wish there was an animation the played or sound to give some player feedback. also you should include an escape button. Cool game!
Beautiful graphics. Needs some sound or animation feedback when an enemy dissapears. Also, holding the left button to move could be an interesting improvement. Good work!
Cute graphics
Wow, nice intro screen! Also, the in-game graphics are really well-done! Without looking at the description, I didn't find out that I could click on other people to destroy them. The goal was unclear - is there a time limit or something? I enjoyed the physics! Thanks for making this little game! :)
Realy cool game good job
The effects and characters looks really really polished, so I would guess there was no time to make a "spoof" animation as good looking as the rest of the game.
Really cool graphics! I included it in my compilation video series of Ludum Dare 36, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/taJ6gW4nG1g
This game is a mixed bag. The graphics are great and this had a good design. The game controls, however, are not great. You have to click on enemies, but it doesn't always work. Clicking on enemies also makes you move in that direction. Since movement is not graceful, moving while clicking enemies is a problem. I felt like I was fighting the game the entire time.
