I'm not really sure what it is, but this game has some big issues when it comes to controlling the player. It feels like you only control the acceleration (not the speed) and there's some really weird inertia/friction.

This is really frustrating, considering that some parts need some really precise jumps.

Nevertheless, I got to the end.

I really enjoyed the fact that each level showed your position in the map, that helped to keep the frustration at bay.

I love it! I love the little extra slide he gives where he doesn't stop immediately like he's a little bit slippy. Gives it the sensation of platforming on an ice rink!

Hi, nice game and congratulations ! We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #36. We made the same thing at the previous jam.

Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description.

Good game but its too hard

Good idea after all, is a bit difficult to control the player although. Maybe you can keep working on the game, polishing the art and the controls, I think it could be funny to play a upgraded version of the game.
I know it's a lot of work but here are some ideas:a map with some towns where you have to deliver messages, unblocking them after you progress in the game. And maybe having to play the levels backwards as you have to come back to the castle to pick up the next message to deliver.
And of course with mediavel 8bits music! Good job!

The character feels very slippery, but the idea is good, I liked the end. It would've been nice to play the return of the player to the King though :)

Good concept, but the controls are a little too slidey, especially when you stop. It stopped loading on the second level the first time I played through. Good work for the amount of time, keep up the great work.

The best part of the game is its funniness :P

The platforming is, erm, well... I will send you a message about it... :)

Cool idea, but i found the controls to be very sliddy and abit unresponsive. I really like the concept though.

Liked the art style and its pixel art and the narrative!

The controls feel akward, kind of slippery...
That last level can feel a little too hard since you cannot jump through clouds. I noticed some blind jumping too.

But I managed to finish the game.

Good job!

There is a lot of delay when pressing a key. And a lot or inertia when releasing it. That makes the game almost impossible to play. Despite that, I still managed to complete the game after (too) many tries so I could enjoy the nice graphics but mostly the funny story ;)

That's a very good idea you got there. Maybe if you can just improve the controls and that would make it perfect.

The strong part of the game is its story, it's funny.
the graphics are simple but the convey a coherent mood. nice job.
I just wish there was a bit more to the plateformer because at the moment it's just about getting used to the akward controls...
