Why is this game over 300 Mb???
You should learn to make simple games using libraries that aren't 300mb big lol... I suggest learning how to use C++ and SFML. I got pretty far but stopped because it felt rather slow for me, and there were nothing but arrow traps it seems. The rotation mechanic could use a little bit of tweaking as well. I wish there was an ending because this is conceptually hilarious.
That is a very slow arrow. As a very slow crab, I appreciate the slowness of the arrow.
In all seriousness, good concept, checkpoints made things not painful. Turning should be MUCH faster. Crabs may turn slowly in real life, but this does not equate to a fun game. :)
Don't you this that it's too big
I liked how you incorporated the 2 button controls to do multiple things like that but basically all the rest was a bit lacking.. walking is too slow, not entirely sure what to do. The art was generally coherent though so thats nice.
Nice control scheme, but I also agree with the extremely large files and the actual gameplay was a bit lacking ;)
Unreal Engine was probably the wrong tool to make this game with. Also, the crab movement and turning is much too slow to be much fun IMO. Using both buttons at once to change actions was pretty neat though.
im sorry but i think this game is very boring
For game jams I would try and use a smaller lib. Could increase the speed.
Hey there the crab drawing is good the textures were good too crab controls worked fine. Never played a LD game on unreal engine before. Innovative the engine. Crab moved a bit too slow and download was way too large.
Nice take on the two button theme, good effort.
why is this 300mb .-.?
